Audio Mechanica - Image 1

After quite a bit of time, Art has released a new version of his Audio Mechanica homebrew app. If you haven't come across this excellent homebrew app before, Audio Mechanica basically turns your PSP into a digital audio recorder. Here's the changelog for version 8d:
  • Program now checks for music folder in the root directory, and creates it if it does not exist so that the program works with Memory Sticks that are formatted by older firmware versions.
  • Updated to Peb's latest OSK library so the onscreen keyboard language matches the PSP settings.
Art has also released the Audio Mechanica source code along with version 8d. You can download both below. Keep in mind that you need either a Socom compatible headset with PSP headphone remote control, a Go!Cam (Chotto Cam), or a Talkman USB microphone for Audio Mechanica to work on your PSP.
