FuSa Gamepad - Image 1Love PC gaming but hate using the keyboard? If you're running a little short to go and get a gamepad, Andy_maN makes like a handyman and whips out a quick fix for your gamepad needs.

Introducing FuSa Gamepad v0.1 - a handy app that turns your PSP into a gamepad. No drivers, no hassle, just install, connect your PSP via USB, and voila, your PC will detect a game peripheral instead of your PSP.

Button configuration:
  • Button 0 - CROSS
  • Button 1 - CIRCLE
  • Button 2 - SQUARE
  • Button 3 - TRIANGLE
  • Button 4 - L-TRIGGER
  • Button 5 - R-TRIGGER
  • Button 6 - START
  • Button 7 - SELECT
The app has been tested with 5.0 m33-6, and tested on WindowsXP, but Andy_maN believes it should work with almost every OS.

 » .

I was thinking of this few months back, using the PSP as a dedicated HID.

Time to bust out the SNES Emulators.

 » good brew

but I think there is a typo in the readme... most games and things I tested this with show the buttons as:
Button 0 - CROSS
Button 1 - CIRCLE
Button 2 - SQUARE
Button 3 - TRIANGLE
Button 4 - L-TRIGGER
Button 5 - R-TRIGGER
Button 6 - START
Button 7 - SELECT
;)

about time this came out.

 » Y'all should definitely

include a disclaimer in this page. The response times are HORRIBLE. I would say about a 2 second delay, if it even responds at all?

This isn't to say I do not appreciate this app, just say that it's in beta or somesuch. I've been searching for an application that would do this for a long time, and I hope you guys continue production :)

Ever since I heard of WiFi controller I wanted something like this instead, does the PSP Slim still charge through the USB while running this?

I found that the PSP slim extension that I had that charged my unit during gameplay actually interfered with this plugin, so I had to disable it.

In other words, no, I could not get my PSP to charge while this app is running.

 » cool but.....

nice app
but one question.....

is it posible to make the analog stick and the D-pad buttons into separate buttons?

you know the d-pad being
d-pad up= joy up
d-pad down=joy down
etc

and the analog stick being
d-pad up= joy up2
d-pad down=joy down2

» Wifi Controller is better... In some ways.

Wifi Controller isn't limited by the cord's length.
Wifi Controller has a better response time.

This doesn't require Wifi, unlike Wifi Controller... So that's good.

Also, the computer takes a little longer to detect my psp when I use this.
