How does this work?
Does it work even if you take out your battery. Or is it jusst if you use shutdown and reboot from the vsh menu?

I think so. Because the ChichHEN exploit is running in RAM and RAM memory is emptied if there's no power to keep it alive. It most likely patches the "Reboot" and "Shutdown" entry from the VSH menu (the Select button).
Anyway, you would have to be pretty dumb to see what "Reboot" and "Shutdown" does in the first place.

well... atleast I cant accidently shutdown the psp from the vsh menu anymore. So conclusion.. The only ways to dissable the cfw now is: Shuting down the psp by holding up the power switch, Removing the battery or dissable the .prx plugin and then shuting down the psp from the vsh menu. I think.. Hahahe ^^
Anyway.. Does this mean that he switched the the shutdown function of the vsh menu with sleep mode?
