The Labyrinth is seanpaul223's latest contribution to the wealth of PSP homebrew games on the QJ.NET PSP Development forum. Says the dev, this game was coded in Lua and makes use of the RayCasting Engine to draw the 3D scenes.

There's no scenario in The Labyrinth. You're not a young Jennifer Connelly on a quest to rescue your little brother from the Goblin King. Regardless, there's a challenge. You'll have to find your way to the exit as fast as you can. Here's what seanpaul223 says:

As a matter of fact,The main aim of this brew is to show The game engine. The game apperas to be tridimentional, but it doesn’t uses any 3D algorithm, just RayCasting. I’ve based this engine on Sean Connelly’s Codetank Source, and F. Permadi’s tutorial.

The dev notes that even though The Labyrinth's animation is pretty fast on a PC, it tends to slow down on the PSP. Adjustments have been made to improve the speed, but the job isn't fully done just yet. Check out seanpaul223's post on the forums by clicking on the Visit link below.
