PSP homebrew: Ultimate PSPTube v1.6

Ultimate PSPTube v1.5 - Image 1


Sweet! JK108 has released an update for Ultimate PSPTube, which now has support for a grand-slamming total of 26 video streaming sites, right on your PSP. Aside from additional sites, Ultimate PSPTube v1.6 also incorporates a bunch of fixes most of you guys will surely appreciate.

Changelog for Ultimate PSPTube v1.6:
  • Yuvutu is now included
  • xHamster is now included
  • Fixed a bug in YouTube where the thumbnail and title would display incorrectly for some results
  • Fixed the VBox7 script so the videos now work again
  • Made a few changes to how the description text is handled
With that said, now it's time to get busy! Choose your poison, guys. Here's the current list of supported sites:

This program makes the PSP suck. The original developer of PSPTube is waayyyy better than the jerkoff who made "ultimate". I mean just think, he has the opportunity to deliver really awesome video streams to the PSP and he limits himself with something as trite as porn. What a loser!!

I make the sites which people request. Its not my fault that half of them are porn sites. You could say that I have a choice whether to include them or not but I try to keep everyone happy by making the sites they want. A lot of the video sites are difficult if not impossible to put in this app which is why sites like Hulu aren't in it.

When winamp started offering porn via shoutcast streams in v3, they at least provided an adult filter setting. This doesn't change the fact that I was horrified that it was so easy to access, even if I watched it during that time in my life.

As a responsible developer who is able to offer so much additional functionality to PSPTube, he ought be able to serve the masses, the consumers and the PSP devoted, with better than a disproportionate majority of porn. You all say you can just delete the ones you don't want, but you still have to browse to them to check them.

Instead of doing us a favor, jk108 has trashed PSPTube and if, by his efforts, he has created another Ted Bundy, let it be by his hands and those who support turning the PSP into.. an a**tray. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ted_Bundy

I guess I can understand where you are coming from but you have to understand that most people who know how to jack their pap probably has access to porn anyway. I guess yeah it would help the cause to not put them on there, but what about the mature people who want the porn sites on there? I guess a good solution would be to have a clean and dirty version.

If you ask me, if you go out of your way to hack, or attain a hacked, psp (no matter your age), then you should know also how to either avoid pornography or go out looking for it. If you want it really bad, this app is not the only way about getting it. And if you really want to avoid it, then ignore or delete those sites. For minors, if they want it in the first place then they will get it with or without this app. This seems to be a pretty well rounded app, representing (ironically) what most cfw users choose to want on thier psps. (plus what good is a online streaming app if adult material is excluded, I mean violence and EVERYTHING that goes along even sex.) btw I am 21 i do watch porn on my psp, but not with this app, too difficult ff and rw, and Im married with children, healthy sex life, this app is not evil. To JK108 - love the app keep these revisions coming!

This is a question of acceptable functionality. A programmer shoulders responsibility just as the US government does for the A-bomb. The developer mentioned hulu.com and should take a lesson from it too where it shoots up an age challenge for mature films and video.

Your support of this application also means you support a loss of innocence (child or adult), just as this smut means a loss of dignity for those women subjected to producing it. You act as-if a child will not stumble upon this garbage or feverishly seek it using the toy they got for christmas as the delivery device. You insinuate that a minor who is successful in feeding every carnal urge that comes to mind, and can stomach the guilt and shame, is made mature.

Objectification of women is not healthy sex nor is it life. To ignore that which can be harmful to your neighbor is simply (un)American.
