Impact - PSP Homebrew Game - Image 1

After spending some time in space, homebrew game developer slicer4ever dropped by the QJ.NET PSP forums to release Impact for the Sony Playstation Portable. Your goal is simple: make two objects meet halfway before time runs out.

The controls are anything but simple though. Sure, you won't have any problems with the top left object and its normal directional controls. What may take some practicing is the bottom right object's inverse controls. Up for the challenge?

To make things a tad more interesting, slicer4ever added special tiles. White tiles are walls while red and green ones act like traffic lights. Red slows you down while green speeds you up. For more of Impact's other interesting features, here's a crash course:
  • a map maker
  • 10 starter maps
  • music
The dev acknowledged a few bugs particularly a map maker naming issue and a tendency to get stuck between a green and a white tile. But don't worry, slicer4ever has all but assured us of a v2.0 release together with the source code. So all is well; just make sure to check the readme first. Enjoy, shock jocks!
