Here's a new release of the anonymous Japanese coder's own gpSP mod. Keep in mind that this mod is different from the Kai releases, although some of it is based on gpSP Kai. This release reportedly fixes some sound bugs found in earlier versions. For some reason though, I kept having trouble with the BIOS file. The BIOS I use for gpSP Kai doesn't seem to work with this one, so I couldn't really check the sound quality. Hope you guys have more luck. Is there a way to remove icon pictures? I like this emulator but that graphic puts me off.

» Indeed.
I had the same problem. I prefer this over gpSP Kai, but the picture (cute as it is,) looks kinda tacky.
Here's what I did:
-Downloaded PSP Content Manager
-Downloaded gpSP mod AND the latest gpSP Kai
-Loaded both gpSPs onto my PSP
-Browsed to gpSP Kai on my PSP
-Right-clicked and hit "Edit"
-Saved both "Pic0" and "Pic1" to my hard drive
-Hit "Edit" on gpSP mod
-Changed the pictures to the ones from gpSP Kai and...
Ta-da! This procedure may sound complicated, but it only took a couple of minutes. This works to add any art (inthe right format) to any PSP program, including pics you made yourself! Enjoy!
By the way, I didn't notice any audio bugs in the last version, but hey, an update's an update.

» So far...
No. It's actually kind of 50-50. Last I knew, gpSP was to feature AdHoc abilities to tie two or more PSPs together wirelessly just like the GameBoys did wired. So far I haven't found any proof or working ROMs that shows that this is true. I'd wait for a new 'Kai.

I still prefer gpSP Kai over this one for some reason...it just seems to run a lot of games a little faster than gpSP mod does...
