Oft-muttered rumors of a new PSP are once again in circulation. Sony is, according to industry tittle tattle, definitely working up a smaller lighter version of its handheld. Questions such as 'when' and 'what will they do about storage' aren't finding answers right now though the company is sticking with UMD. |

If you think the Sony PSP is a flop, you don't know anything. Just try to compare Sony's 1st handheld with Nintendo's 4th. Of course if you compare NDS with PSP the PSP looks like a flop, but it surely isn't.

i'm not too sure about that but it could be. Because I don't know anyone in my sorroundings who has a psp, too ^^
But I think now that the PSP is getting cheaper it could sell better. What's left are new good games. God of War, we're waiting ;)

Sony can't do this to us! If they do release a new PSP, I will throw my old one to grabage bin and NEVER EVER buy another sony product again! And neither will my family or any of my friends!
By the way, I just upgraded my DS to DS Lite, it's so much better than the old one, I love it! I recommend this to everyone else!

As for the "updated psp," it isn't needed. The difference here is that this suggests adding a 2nd analog stick to the PSP which in effect makes it an entirely different control scheme and making the millions of PSP currently out there obsolete. This wouldn't be an upgrade, but a fundamental change.

At least if the psp can tranfer the memory stick/UMD movies to the TV I will be glad... anyway a connector under the psp.. for a cradle for the psp to tranfer movies.. to connect a keyboard ect... and with more memory pls... for the web browser and else... a lite version it will be cool too... but keeping the same screen size... and for the guy before... why u want/have to throw the psp away if they do this? you will still play the games... and for the extra analog stick... people always said that they are angry that the psp don't had it and they said that they will add it and now u said that is not nessesary?
