Ó

We're here to bring you more PSP goodness with NCAA Football 07 screenshots. These, much like the Xbox 360 screens, are quite nice. This is one of the first PSP games that doesn't actually look like a PSP game. The game is a much improved version of the hated Madden series on the PSP. The game offers WiFi mode for online play along with complete stat tracking. If you're a football fan and have been waiting for a decent football game to hit the handheld, then your time is near. More info will show up as it's released, we're sure to see more about this game during/after E3.

Those don't look like accurate PSP screens. Those are doctored images; they are higher resolution than what the PSP is designed to render, and the pictures show now sign of aliasing. The images look much too crisp.

I hate it when developers do that. They should show actual real images, representing the actual visual fidelity of their games.

» How about some real screens?

Those are NOT actual screenshots from a PSP. Looks like the character models they hope to use running off a developers PC. The PSP doesn't do anti-aliasing or run at that high of a resolution. The real game visuals will be much more spartan than what EA is parading around to the media to hype this product. Either way, i'll be keen to see how this game shapes up when it goes gold!

 » real pictures please

I too was impressed with the clarity of these pictures but it's obvious when you look at the resolution that they aren't what you get on the PSP. (agree with #3 #8).
If you look at the resolution: 799x453
Try fitting that on your PSP screen!

They also look like the movies... so I would say its just the dev preparing the movies on their PC.

 » crap

I still think they look like crap beacuse the psp has atleast as much graphical power as the dreamcast and that is no where near a dreamcast game

» if you've guys had played daxter...

play daxter you won't doubt these graphics, the devs have a computer psp emulator and thats where they get these screen shots, people are just getting better at developing for the psp. I mean this things stronger and has more ram than the dreamcast, and that looked pretty good.

» To Number 12 and the Other Dumbass!

Listen, you dumbasses, those screens don't represent the graphics accurately. Yes, they use the same models and same textures. However, the main difference is the resolution and the amount of anti-aliasing that is used. Even hi-end realtime graphics can't replicate such anti-aliasing. That kind of AA is only found on CGI or images that have been pre-rendered. I hope you two dumbasses who know nothing about computer graphics and are blind can understand this.

Yes, Daxter is amazing looking. However, if you pause the game and compare it to the screenshots and compare image quality, as in clarity, those fake screenshots of NCAA is way clearer, not necessarily better graphics.

number 13 lol i hope he doesnt really think the bull***** he is talking he thinks is true...those grahpics the main difference is the resolution and the amount of anti-aliasing that is used. Even hi-end realtime graphics can't replicate such anti-aliasing. That kind of AA is only found on CG buddy if your talking about those screen shots your eyes suck some serious vision watch advent children and tell me those screens look like that lol

 » To Number 15!

Listen you dumb piece of *****! Did I say those graphics match a hi-end CG like Advent children?! Did you even understand what the ***** I was saying?! You do realize that Anti-Aliasing is only a part of graphics and not the entire graphics.

Those NCAA screenshots don't look anywhere near as good as Advent Children. However, the amount of AA that is used is only found in CG graphics, where they have plenty of time for post-processing effects, such as AA. Of course, Xbox 360 and other systems, even the PSP, can do AA, but there are many levels of AA. 4 XX, which is considered the top-end for real-time graphics rendering is no where near CGI-level anti-aliasing. Those NCAA screens, since they are doctored and have been touched up and were not rendered in real time, they use this extreme level of AA. However, that DOES not mean it matches Advent children graphics.

If you ACTUALLY read and understood what I was saying, you dumb ass, you would know I said that those screens, although being not accurate, do have PSP-like graphics; it uses the same models, textures, and lighting. However, what makes this touched-up (fake) is that the resolution is much higher than 480 x 272, which is the native resolution for all PSP games. Another thing that makes those screens inaccurate is the extreme use of AA, which not even the Xbox 360 could achieve. Look at any "real" Xbox 360 screens, and you will certainly notice jaggies.

I hope you idiot can understand this, because I'm making myself very very clear.
