I'm so happy....I was waiting for this one...as always good job and THANK YOU!!!
Rad, an atari emulator for 2.01 :D. thnx heaps, been waitin for ages. :D
This is totally rad man!! And 5200 also...cool dude!!
Zx-81 Thank you for reading people's requests. You are a positive influence to the PSP homebrew community!
god please stop all of this madness plllease.
no one cares about a atari emu.
Obviously several people do care about it, blah. I'll add my voice to those. Good job, ZX-81!
OOOOH #6 we do care and this is great. Thanks for the hard work. pole position, pac man , pitfall , choplifter etc...good stuff
Now can someone find a way to port oregon trail...There has to be a ending to this game.
does this run 2600 roms?
why do you continue to release such crap?
yet another emulator eh? ZX81?
you say these take you up 80 hours yet you keep popping out these wanky old emulators, for gods sake produce something good you limelight grabbing low life,
get ready for loads of toss updates, like the ability to exit, added a title sceen, emulated the boredom...................
thank god that you must be running out of doorstops to emulates, then you'll either die off into the shadows or you may actually have to program something good for a change.
Edited by QJ. NET Staff, because:
Limit the name-calling please. There are a lot of ways to get your point across constructively. And I'm sure the developer will value it more if you do it that way, esp. since I can sense you have substantial programming knowledge yourself. Thanks.:)
@12: thanks for all your constructive comments, you're a major contributor on the psp scene.
@10: no
@11: nobody asks you to download it ;).
@others: thanks.
Thanks a lot for this, zx81. Brings back a lot of old memories. Hopefully a version with sound and the oppurtunity of changing the hardware will soon emerge from your labs. M.U.L.E., here I come......
Your emulators are a great contribution to the PSP-homebrew-scene. Thanks a lot for these !
zx-81: when we'll see sinclair zx-81 emulator?:>
regards!!!
@15: I've begun to port xz81 (x11 emulator) but never finished :( ..
Wow ! The 130XE was my first computer ! Nice to see it released on the PSP lol. Ahh.. F-15 Strike Eagle, Miner 2049er, those were the days. Good 'ol 1987.
zx-81, thank you for revisiting the Atari 5200 emu, I now know it's in good hands. Keep up the mad crazy work...your releases are inspiring to us all.
Finally! I hope that soon all 8bit-lovers will get full working atari emu. Thank you!
Can you add Atari 2600 support in the future please? The last Atari 2600 emulator on the scene was Stella back in September 7, 2005. :(
I really want to play Pitfall, Megamania, and River Raid on the go. Not to mention Space Invaders of course.
great work but i'll better like it if it could emulate atari 7800
anyway great work
I love it..Its nice to get some atari stuff on you psp. The only problem I have is what should I play first;)
Can you try and incorporate or produce a good Atari jaguar emulator? Granted you won't be able to write it in BASIC like all your other emulators, but then times have changed and the games for this emulator are incredibly dated and virtually unplayable. this emulator would be more suited to the original game boy
This reminds me of when i were in hospital after a car crash.
I had strange dots in front of my eyes, horrible screeching in my ears and i were in unholy pain
GTA? wipeout? pro evo? etc etc
Keep up the good work. Everyone should love this!! Atari on you psp is cool.
Did i read right? ZX81 programs his emulators in Basic? wow isn't that like ancient or something? thats bogus man! Wouldn't it be better if you did it in C++?
there is a zx81 emulator!!
its where you play a developer, the first few levels are really easy coz you just do ports of simple ancient games and systems like the old colecovision,
progressing through levels and you have to do emulators for more modern machines such as GBA, but ultimataly your 'character' finds it too difficult and instead of revelling in the challenge like any decent programmer, you end up going back and porting some easy stuff again like an Atari 800,
The final few levels are when your 'character' desperatatly searches for that old ancient emulator left for him to port, having already done virtually every thing within his programming power he finally finds that ellusive machine........................
Grandstand Pong
100 versions of pong including tennis and squash.
its a great emulator, search for it on this site look for ZX81
@20,@21, @23 : Thanks :). Atari2600, 7800 or Jaguar are not emulate by Atari800 ... I've to port other emus for that ;) ...
@27 : lol ! I don't know where you have read that, but i do use the langage of the emulator i port, so mainlly written in c++, c ;).
You're the man, anyone who says otherwise is selling something, or has a personal vendetta.
Thank you for all of your work, not to mention the continual updates. The fact that there's now a 2600 emu for the 2.6 is fantastic.
rock on man,
The_skizzy
