PSP298 has just released the source code for PSPGBA v1.1 GameBoy Advance emulator. The Game Boy Advance (GBA) is a handheld videogame console developed, manufactured and marketed by Nintendo. It is one of the latest in the Game Boy series of consoles, and the successor to the popular Game Boy Color.

You can get it in our PSP Download section [here].

what is this and where do i put it on my psp?

   by s00pcan (Unregistered) - 2005-11-02

Seeing the incredibles game makes me laugh - the sprite artist for the gba game sent a letter to my house after I hacked (script kiddied) a forum he went to. I thought it was hilarious.

axel16 put the files in a directory called flash0 on your PSP...

This is a source code, you dont put it on your PSP its for developers.

Ofcourse , We all know that what s00pcan said is BULLSH*T... Why would a Sprite artist from a renown game for the GBA such as the Incredibles waste time eMailing a "hacker" that uses scripts (lmao , therefore , not really a hacker.)Exactly He wouldn't. So stop bsing =]

kthxbai.

As for the source , I really admire this guy/girl because , he's done alot of job , and now maybe he needs alittle help on the job and feels that the comunity is trustworthy enough to deserve the source of the best GBA emu for the PSP as of now.

So... Kudos to you mate =]

Btw , It's bugga12. (Since this uses a blogger account...)

   by axel16 (Unregistered) - 2005-11-02

Sabinu, I'm an artist for not one but two "reknown games" (and two more lesser-known), yet I'm a mod o nthese forums and spend some time emilaing members not just here, but in different communities. How is that BS?

ahem... back to the subject of the gbapsp source code, does this mean the guy's thinking of quitting, or is he one of those rare people who doesn't just hog his code when others could help.

the guy who made this app is my hero, everyone else could learn from him.

cheers man

i'm glad that this guy gave out his source code. I sure hope that now people are going to tweak the code and stuff so the emulator could be AWESOME.

   by darealbigtigga (Unregistered) - 2005-11-02

I JUST WANT TO SAY, IF YOU USE HIS CODE TO MAKE THE APP BETTER, GIVE THIS GUY CREDIT/ CAUSE HE DEFITINLY DESERVES IT... HIS NOT SELFISH AND HE WAS THE FIRST DAREING PERSON TO MAKE THIS EMULTOR RUN DECENTLY.

Check the main page's news and this guy talks about making the game and others (like sigma star saga, which is how I found out he did work on gba games). And he didn't email me, he sent that letter to my house. You seem to have a retarded concept of how people in the industry are robots and get new jobs automatically. He used those forums to get hired basically, and when they were gone for a while he got mad. Actually, I don't even know if they are back up now.

DANG!

I thought it was another version of PSPGBA...

seriously.. it would be my dream come true if a full speed-running gba emulator comes out soon.

anyway, PSP298, you ROCK dude!!

From soopcan:

"I’m sure Chris was just having a good time, he decimated a website many people count on to provide themselves with work, and generally ruined an environment he was not a part of with images of naked men and plenty of cursing."

Hahahaha, Chris is a ****GOT!!!

You like looking at naked men you ****GOT!!!!!!

   by ScreamingLamb (Unregistered) - 2005-11-02

Good job, s00p. You have proved you spend your time doing pointless things which destroys good things for other people.

You also made it a point that you have so much time to yourself that you search up pornography of men and type out letters that were sent to your parents via snailmail.

I'm not even going to bother with ISOHaven's response. If anything, it's a post which should have been removed by mods, and I'm wondering why it hasn't been.

   by bryan (Unregistered) - 2005-11-02

figures my psp gets stolen when all this stuff is being released

   by s00pcan (Unregistered) - 2005-11-02

Type out letters? There was no need for that, he posted it on his website (in just a temp folder to show people) an then people from the forums sent it to me. Google images makes it easy to not have to go to.. websites.. to get single pictures.

And yes, I am the one who ran thps glitches and played thps4 online more than anyone else (probably). I'm not on thaw because I don't have broadband at my house (we just moved after building a house, and it doesn't have broadband. Though there is some good wifi I'm going to work on using coming from across the lake..)
