Homebrew developer zx-81 dropped by QJ.NET PSP Development forum a while ago and release a new application called PSPIRC. Just like the name suggests, this program is a basic Internet Relay Chat client for the Sony PlayStation Portable. It was based from Danzel's IRC engine and zx-81's very own PSPSSH. |

QJ = Slow
YOUR MOM+SLOW AND NASTY IN BED!!!
Yup, QJ is very slow :P
I didn't understand it when people was saying that QJ was always the last one to post news, but now, I understand :P
Dcemu.co.uk posted that days ago
totally agree. I check on Exophase.com to see REAL news. QJ posts everything at least two days later. Exophase don't post every s-h-i-t that is unimportant for everybody. I refer especially to RPGs that are updated every ten minutes to add another stolen sprite and never gonna finished OR people to claim to be hackers and never release their so cool announced CFWs (3.51 XR for example). It's like Mathieulh said: QJ and Maxconsole aren't really good sites. Over the 2 Years I'm now here I also realized that and I'm gonna change to other communitys. Besides, QJ is filled with Flamers, ads, First-post-idiots and kiddys. So theres no reason to stay.
zx-81 should port ir keyboard to dosbox!
i swear to god people need to stop putting the fricking danzeff keyboard in these apps! why cant they put the damn sony OSK in it. i can type about half as fast using the OSK as a normal keyboard, it takes me 5 mins to type a small sentence on danzeff. seriously, stop putting the damn danzeff in everything.
At times, random text gibberish starts typing by itself in the channel fields, when I'm trying to type or backspace.
This works on 3.51 M33???
If it works, cna we use it with ir keyboard too on 3.51 M33???
THANKS!!!
Just wanted to thank zx-81 dev cause of his great homebrew programs for PSP, the Amstrad emulator gotta be my fav.
Keep on the great work zx-81!
Finally we have Google Talk, MSN. ICQ, AIM, Yahoo, MIRC in PSP...
I only need 1 more programm: SKYPE in PSP ;)
THANKS & CAN'T WAIT...
P.S. - IF THERE IS ANOTHER CHAT PROGRAMM I WANT IT TOO...
TAHSNKA AND CAN'T WAIT...
At first it didnt work for me on 3.40 OE-A when I put the pspirc in GAME since my kernel is 1.50, but it worked in GAME340.
Another minor gripe is that when you select the question mark, it comes up as | , in order to get it to show properly, you have to hit left trigger for the numbers, then right trigger to shift, then select that question mark there. Kind of a hassle.
I also agree with the other person who said that we should be given the option to use Sony's OSK, because I too can type a lot faster with it than the Danzeff one. I am constantly making mistakes on it.
Good work overall. Thank you for this. :)
Thanks for your feedback, i will fix the bug you reported. About Danzeff keyboard, i'm pretty sure you can go as fast as the Sony's OSK, with a little practice.
@all: thx
Zx
I've been waiting for a decent IRC client on PSP for a while, and I'm glad to see you've made one that doesn't crash whenever somebody changes their nick. :) Good stuff!
Perhaps you could look into multiple channel support next? If you try and join another channel from within a channel, it gets a bit wonky.
cool, sounds like a useful app and lots of the comments are positive, i'll check it out right now
