The PSPKick team, Nathan Wray and Noah Vawter, are hard at work on a new version of their outstanding music composition program for the PSP. While they didn?t want to give away any surprises, they did comment on a few new features of their upcoming release, so this is more of a teaser. v2.0 will come with a variety of soundpacks included, but all those PSPKick fans out there should start gathering their own sound samples in preparation for the upcoming release.

The above screenshots are about all the info that they want to release right now, from the pictures you can guess at some of the features of PSPKick v2.0.

PSPkick devteam however, now these guys ROXXORZ

anyone remember the first version of Fruity Loops? - Now look at FL Studio - a fully working production suite - rivals Cubase (sort of).

This program reminds me of the early versions of Fruityloops - but portable - w00t! So much potential...i just can't wait to see what they come up with...

Mabey one day it will open up fruity loop files. And then the ppl at flstudio give lots and lots of riches to the pspkick ppl.

Say goodbye to these homebrews. Do you think if Sony licenses them they won't put a mandated 2.0 update on the UMD? The version changer is only going to work so long, Sony will get around it soon. Are you going to update for these? I'm not.

Not sure if this version has it, but it would nice to be able to string patterns together to create 'songs'.

   by Anonymous (Unregistered) - 2005-09-21

Well it looks like thats some sorta song menu at the bottom of the second pic...

   by Logrithmic (Unregistered) - 2005-09-21

Yeah I been using this from the jump with my own sounds.

Wrote a long letter to them with suggestions too. Obviously looks like they did the songs one in the second pic. Can't to see what else they used.....
