PSPTube 20071225 - Image 1

Here's a bit of good news for the guys who've been enjoying the PSPTube homebrew application. Developer SofiyaCat has just released build 20071225 of the app, which is now available for public use.

For those tuning in for the first time, PSPTube enables you to view .flv video files associated with streaming sites like YouTube. This latest release appears to come with several new changes (translated via Babelfish). We'll highlight the notes that should be easy to figure out:
  • The swap 0 × was done properly,
  • temporarily, download was mounted. In regard to UI still is. It does not mount Save As yet.
  • Presently it can download simultaneously up to 2. The *1 *
  • it reached the point where it can do halt and playback with the START button.
  • Detailed bug was corrected
  • the kana which is stabilized relatively?
  • As for the below-mentioned bug being to remain please note.
  • The PSP っ て it is enormous well enough, don't you think? is, the *2
  • Known bug When changing to Online from Offline, when network connected dialogue will be cancelled, OSK tries probably to be opened with the × button 100% it freezes. -> You inspect and it is in & in the midst of correcting.
  • Bug report in regard to this version is not necessary.
  • It is not the case that all functions which it has planned are mounted. Please insert in the GAME folder.
  • This is snapshot version.
According to the guys who've tried this new release (both here at QJ and at DCEmu), PSPTube will now allow you to save your Youtube videos. gamefreak199101 of the DCEmu forums was also kind enough to provide for a clear explanation of the controls:
  • O- is to search for a video
  • X- is to enter
  • []- is to switch screens and make a side view of the video while watching
  • Select- is to change between youtube, veoh and favorites
  • Start- to pause during videos
We further warn the readers that while this new release appears to be more stable, it's still a beta build. It's still unstable, and may be susceptible to crashes.

Late last night I grabbed this and then reported it, I think this is one of the first times I've enjoyed having that time difference.

 » Help with PSPTube!!!!!

Does this newest release of PSPTube (the 12/25/2007 release version) work on PSP Firmware version 1.5 or even 1.0 anymore???

Because I downloaded the newest version and it didn't seem to be working on my FW 1.5 PSP.

Please message me back, or contact me at:

Thank you,

Paul Doran

 » nope

runs on 3.xx kernel, i would suggest upgrading, as most new apps will run in 3.xx kernel in hopes of running on slims, since they cant use 1.50 subset.

» Would Be Great To Do This For imeem.com

imeem.com is youtube for everything - so it has pretty much any piece of music ever released on the site (and plenty of videos). Would be nice to have the celestial jukebox on my psp
