PSPTube 20071229c - Image 1Thanks to a tip from "i would thank sofiyacat" (Yup, that's the tipper's name!), we've learned that SofiyaCat has released an upgrade to PSPTube 20071225. This version, which is apparently called PSPTube 20071229c, has a couple of neat little additions you might like, though the one most readily visible for users would be the addition of a playlist function.

Here's the changelog, as written by an online translation engine:

  • Stage6 respond. (Video successfully reproduce less.)
  • Config.js favorites in a folder (a favorite) can be changed now
  • SELECT button in the full-size video, the original, can now be switched
  • Playlist function has been added
  • Other small bug fixes
  • Download and fall to make bug fixes. (Β3)
Sofiyacat notes one known bug, however, which apparently freezes the program:  "Online and Offline switch to the network when to cancel the dialog, OSK ?button to open and freeze 100 percent. -> ->I do check in to NYA."

In any case, you can download the program below, and you can visit the source link for additional information on Sofiyacat's program, should you choose to do so. Enjoy!

 » Incomplete

Although I'm sure this works, I could not get it to work on my PSP, so i'm guessing that this zip does not contain everything I need.

   Re: JaXeRiR - 2007-12-30
 » What do you mean?

Just drop the folder to PSP/GAME3XX/ (GAME3XX + for example GAME371), and start from the PSP menu.

Simple as that!

 » Is it just me?...

Or does it always loose sync with the sound?

I can't use it because the lip sync is out after like 20 seconds!

Also it needs a ff and rewind function, great app though.

 » Brilliant Release!

Great relase by sofiyacat, the fact that we can change our favorites folder is brilliant as we can now download flv files from other sites in the PSP browser and store them in this folder and allow psptube to load them for us making psptube a flash file player for PSP at the same time!! Keep up the good work!

 » It'd be cool...

if there could be a 'delete' option under "favorites". I'm glad PSPtube can play divX vids. It needs work, of course, but at least I can now watch a whole episode of something from Stage6. The color needs to be fixed and the lag needs be rid of. still great work. What is the meaning of the playlist if there is a favorites folder??

 » Thank you, SofiyaCat!

I download and installed PSPTube to my PSP today. Oh, man. This is a great program. I can't stop watching video on my PSP. I feel so good that I can watch youTube on PSP.
Watching youTube is very smooth, video and audio.
Watching stage6 and veoh is a little delay. If you pause the video for a few seconds first, then you won't have problem.
I hope Sofiyacat can set up an official forum. Then we can put our feedback.
Thank you, SofiyaCat! You really did a great jot. Keep it up!
