Sony PSP - Image 1If you had problems with the latest release of SofiyaCat's PSPTube, specifically the PSPTube 20080113, then here's the thing that you need. Just a day after PSPTube 20080113 was made available, homebrew developer SofiyaCat managed to fix two of the bugs that plagued the streaming video application.

So here's the short list of bugs that are fixed in this particular version, as translated by our weblator:

  • Dailymotion settings that are not logged out and search. -> fixed in version 20080114
  • Play stopped immediately after the play and stop play immediately after the freeze. -> Press gently -> please. -> fixed in version 20080114
We'll just leave it up to you in trying to decode the text. Enjoy the download!

Does anyone notice that the image icon still says 2008/01/13 and not 2008/01/14

   Re: Kingboo - 2008-01-20
 » reason

it was probably finished on 2008/01/13 but released on 2008/01/14 so they put that date on it

Yeah, I also noticed that the time and date were not changed on the boot and icon of the new release; it still said PSPTUBE 20080113 instead of PSPTUBE 20080114.

The only bugs I noticed were: After downloading/saving two youtube videos to my favorites, it wouldn't allow be to download anymore videos. When I would attempt to save it the file would just show up in my favorites with a size of "0 bytes". That is a minor problem, though.

Anyway, THANK YOU so much for you work SofiyaCat!

:]

P.S. :

I wish someone with crazy programming skill would pick up on SofiyaCat's DesMeMu Nintendo DS emulator that was ported for the PSP. It hasn't been updated since 7/25/07. Although, I would rather see the No$GBA (No Cash Emulator) NDS emulator ported for the PSP. That would be sick! Although I know it is WAY easier said than done. I tried to get into programming; it's just not for me.

 » OOPS!

It wasn't downloading the videos due to a lack of space on the memory stick, not because there is a bug in the app. I haven't found any bugs yet, then! Great work SofiyaCat!

 » Instructions please.

Not to be mean but, I downloaded the zip, extracted it to my PSP, ran it and get a black screen with a white line across the top that displays Favorites - No video and Online.

Now what!

Instructions in the zip or in the description of this app on this site would be helpfull, maybe a link to a tutorial would help those users who have downloaded this app for the first time.

I'm sure the app works well, but if someone did not start with the very first version, they have no idea how to proceed.

 » ok

once you have an internet connection, all you need to do is press select until you see "youtube" at the top of the screen. Then press circle to open the text and type whatever you want to search. Press start then it will show you the search results. Press select again to use that same search on other websites. Pressing R trigger selects the next 10 selections on the same website (e.g. Youtube 11-20 results).
