PSPUAE - Image 1

PSPUAE is a port of the UAE Amiga emulator for the PSP (we recently reported on the PSPUAE v0.63 progress updates). And PSPUAE needs beta testers. If you're interested, then read what Hungry Horace had to say.

Apparently the old beta testers weren't submitting bug reports - especially during the pre-Christmas rush for PSPUAE v0.62. So some of the beta testers were dropped. Hungry Horace apologized and explained that reports are important. "Sorry guys, but if we were happy to not get feedback, we'd make the betas public," Hungry Horace explained, "however, we prefer to keep betas private to ensure a more quality piece of work for each of our users with each release, and less chances of obvious / repeated feedback."

Those who want to be beta testers must apply openly for one of the six or so positions:

If you could inform us publicly (PM's regarding the matter will be ignored) via www.pspuae.com of why you think you should be in the running for one of the 6 or so beta-tester status rights, we will take your offer into consideration.

Before you apply, please consider if you'll be right for the job. "Maybe your level of Amiga understanding is particuarly high," Hungry Horace explained, "perhaps you are running PSPUAE via HEN and realise that we require testers with as many different homebrew-enabled PSPs as possible, or perhaps you have previous experience beta-testing other emulators..."

 » They mustn't want testers

Just tried to sign up and it said I wasn't allowed to because "registration for the same computer not allowed". They must not want experienced Amiga users that bad to test.

ADD HARD DRIVE SUPPORT! quit messing around guys..
seriously what is the point of pushing the emulator this far
if you can't even support a hard disk image? I use them ALL

As I said over at pspuae.com, if you think its that easy, be my guest. Give us a shout once you have HDD Support working, ;). I spent most of Saturday and Sunday, working on why it isnt working with GnoStiC.

So, if you think we dont what it working, then your wrong, JUST WAIT, WE ARE WORKING ON IT.

Again, DONT COMPARE Pocket UAE with PSPUAE, they are 2 completely different hardware's, hence why it isnt working on as yet on the PSP.
