PSPVC v3.60 - Image 1Developer Nick Swardh dropped us a line to inform us of the latest release of PSPVC, the homebrew app of choice for converting your vids for the PSP.

A whole bunch of new features were added to this version, including some new filter options and the ability to add your own watermarks to the video. Here's the changelog:
  • Added a whole new "Logo" section that enables you to add your own logo/watermark
  • Added a new "Line Darkening" option to "Tweak Image" which makes the lines... eh... darker
  • Added a memory stick space-check when uploading a video to the PSP
  • Updated the sharpening filter LimitedSharpen to LMFmod
  • Increased the "Custom Resolution" limit from 3 to 4 digits
  • Fixed a subtitle-extraction bug when converting
  • fixed bug causing some subtitles to show up incorrect while previewing video
  • Fixed a screenshot-marker bug
  • Misc improvements

 » hmm....

I like the watermark feature....I get that "Ooooh...I thought that was out in theatres only, and you got it on your PSP? Can I get that off you?" alot so it'd definitely help.

 » Eh...

Honestly, I think Total Video Converter does a better job speed-wise, plus it doesn't require these codecs or these add-ons. Although, I have used this just recently and found that output quality is superb, but it takes so damn long to convert a simple 20-minute video. It's also starting to give me BS about video conversion and that I should start using the force conversion option. How about this, convert the damn movie.

In any case, it's a great tool for any PSP video enthusiast, but I'm sure that people can find faster apps out there. If you could release a lite version that doesn't have these ridiculous features, then that'll be awesome!
