Ó

Right after the month of June kicked off, we shared with you a homebrew application concerning the PSP and its accessory add-on the Chotto Shot. The program itself is called Go! Cam Mod v1 and it's just a simple adjustment to the cam's rather loud sound.

This next PSP homebrew application still concerns cameras, specifically webcams. Italian homebrew developer Xarro dropped by the QJ.NET PSP Development Forum and released PSPWebcam. Basically, this allows you to to connect your PC's webcam to your PSP and view the video feed from the console.

To better understand this program, we're putting up a video clip created by Xarro himself.

PSPWebcam also comes with a Readme file so don't forget to browse through that first. On a last note, the program doesn't work with Vista
.

 » I did it wireless

Well,

I used to do it a looooooong time ago, wirelessly, using VLC on my PC that would open my cheap pc webcam hardware, then stream it on the lan.

Then I would open that stream with pmp vlc on the psp.

Useful if you want to spy what's the cat doing in the room while you are in anothe other room ;-)

Or maybe I didn't understand what the guy was really doing ... was he using a PC webcam ? or a PSP webcam ?

 » asd

he did not make this! this is PC2PSP! just renamed exe and everything!

   Re: DJ (Unregistered) - 2007-06-18
 » yeah sure...

he renamed everything, including the files to run the webcam and such. dont be such a dumbass man. its a webcam. its similar to pc2psp because of the usbhost drivers. but that is in everything that uses usbhost. sheesh. give the guy some credit.

   Re: DJ (Unregistered) - 2007-06-18
» it appears that I am a dumbass. sad was right all along.

This app uses pc2psp to view the webcam window and then takes .jpg pics and delivers it to the psp. Now here are more details for this app (or mod of the pc2psp if you will). It will only work through usbhost. It will NOT work through nethost. ms0 redirection or not it will NOT work. I tried it. This app is nothing to be excited about. its pretty useless because you can only use usbhost. so that means you have to sit in front of the computer to see the webcam. Still want more detail? Well, the program is required to connect through the usb. it cannot see it like pc2psp does. Stick to pspearth for webcams instead.

 » question...

anyone have a link for irShell for 3.40 OE-A? when i use the old one there are alot of bugs

   by Racemaniac (Unregistered) - 2007-06-19
 » who wrote this newsentry???

" Basically, this allows you to to connect your PC's webcam to your PSP and view the video feed from the console."
and
" the program doesn't work with Vista."

....

either you connect the webcam to your psp, or connect your psp to your pc and can see your webcam like that...

it's obvious that it's the second option (also pretty logical since the psp hasn't got a usb port, so it would require a custom cable/ a mod, and tons of webcam drivers), so the first sentence is a piece of confusing bull*****...

Please read this, you will be excited. When you click this link, http://www.cashcrate.com/259011 you will sign up for a website that pays you 2 - 45$ (PER) to do surveys, sign up for trial offers, and test products.
Companies such as ebay pay cashcrate to have people try their offers, and when you complete an offer, cashcrate simply passes the money onto you. By spending an average of 3-4 hours a week on cascrate,
I have made 472$ in April, 412$ in May, and 271$ (SO FAR) in June. You get paid in real checks from "KINGSIDE MEDIA" every month that you earn 5 dollars or more. It may seem too good to be true,
but I assure you it IS true. Also, with their referral program, you can refer people by sending them your link (you get when you sign up) and for every buck they earn, you get 20 cents also! (Think how much money you can make if you have 100 people making five bucks a day)
You do not have to enter your credit card or social security number. Nothing Harmful can come from cashcrate. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE 18 OR OLDER, I AM 15 YEARS OLD AND REFERRING PEOPLE, AND I MAKE THIS MUCH MONEY A MONTH
JUST SPENDING A COUPLE MINUTES A DAY ON THE COMPUTER! THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR READING THIS.
Think it's a scam? Read this(from the website) "We assure you that this is not a scam! Companies need consumers to try and review products, services, and websites and are willing to pay money to have them do so.
Most of the time you're asked to do this without any compensation, what we do is take the money companies give us for YOUR participation, and give you back up to 75% of it!"
There are alot of websites like this, I have tried almost all of them and this really is the best, and legit one.
