Periodic table

For the guys who picked up Access_Denied's TIFF Periodic Table v2, we've got something for you. It looks like Access_Denied's been listening in on the buzz over his earlier creation, because he's released PSPeriodic Table v3. Okay, so he didn't release it himself, but he did get xploren over at the forums to let out the third installment of this Periodic  table.

And for those asking, yes - he's decided to make the most out of the 2.8 eLoader, and has converted this app into C format (it took about 10 minutes). Aside from this major tweak, Access_Denied's also added these other extra features:
  • Name
  • Symbol
  • Number
  • Mass
  • Electronic Configuration
  • Electrons in each shell
The dude says that this might be his last update for the app, barring bugs and major additions. For further details, read up on the README included in the download. We once again thank Access_Denied for the good job - apps like these are always welcome.

This is actually really cool because I have a test today in this and this is perfect to help me study for it. Pretty ironic that it came out today. Thanks!

Apps like this are great. We need more science related apps, not for the cheaters hehe but for people who are boring science and space nuts like me. Also nice to see that other people enjoy these too. Keep up the good work and thanks!

Does this do anything else but display the periodic table? Why couldn't you just have an image of the table and put it in the Photo folder?

This app is very cool. Not only is it helpful but the nice colorful look of it adds some spice to what is normally a boring periodic table.
