PSPlorer v1.3 - Image 1If you like to tinker with the files that you have in your PlayStation Portable, then pspZorba's latest homebrew application could be useful in your endeavors.

The coder announced the release of  PSPlorer v1.3 over at our PSP Development forum. So that you guys aren't at a total loss with this program, the developer was able to jot down in details what it does.

Here are some of the things that you could do with it:
  • File exploration on the memory stick, flash0, flash1, and umd
  • Copy, delete, move, rename of files and directories
  • Dump and securised flash of the NAND. WARNING, even if the flash has been tested on several PSP, the flash of the nandBackup is still a risky thing. I won't accept any responsibilities in case you brick your PSP.
  • UMD backup
  • USB connection
  • Creation of new files and new directories
  • File hex-edit
  • File transfer from PSP to PSP via WiFi
Furthermore, there are two versions of the readme file included. One is in English, the other is in French. We don't want to stand in your way, if you guys want to go on ahead and grab the homebrew. We'll keep you guys updated if there are updates on this particular application.
