Want some more hot Robot-on-Robot action? Well you're in luck... if you're in Japan that is. Namco Bandai has announced a new PSP iteration in the Gundam videogame series, and it's a port of the arcade hit Mobile Suit Gundam: Gundam VS Gundam. More after the jump!

The Last Guy is finally available for download over at the PlayStation Store this week. Hope you still have credits after last week's Quest for Booty - you can never go wrong with zombies! Free demos for SoulCalibur 4 and NHL 09 are also online now, while the PC store has some wallpapers and a new theme available for the PSP.

In an interview, John Koller, Sony's brand manager for the PSP, talked much about the recently unveiled PSP-3000. He has confirmed that the battery life of the new PSP model will indeed be decreased because of the brighter screen. Also, Koller revealed that the PSP-2000, aka the PSP Slim, will cease production soon. Out with the old, in with the new! (But if you're a collector, it's high time to find a Slim unit now before it's gone forever. Time to hoard those Slims!)

French PSP homebrew coder Dungeon has come out with two things of interest to homebrew makers today, and he calls them the Isometric Engine and the Isometric Collision Creator v0.1. Learn more after the jump!

Bonjour! Mizou93 and Willy91 have taken the opportunity to share Hellcat's latest version of Pandora Installer with the rest of the French PSP homebrew community. They got Hellcat's permission to HEX edit Pandora Installer and translated the text to French.

Music PRX 4.01 M33-2 is a modded version of 3.90 M33's music PRX. The PRX was scrunched up from 800 KB to 108 KB. The PRX works, except that in-game mute doesn't work. Details in the full article.

PSP developer bkclog has a new update for the NEC PC-8801 emulator for the PSP. This is now the third release of QUASI88 v0.6.3 and has included changes in script features, design, and has included other bug fixes.

More incoming on the Square Enix - Tecmo talks. Square Enix recently sent out a statement explaining what they're willing to give for Tecmo. According to their recent statement, Square Enix is willing to pay a premium for controlling interest in Tecmo. Find out more after the jump!

Wii Shell v0.1 is a Wii-themed shell application for the PSP that allows you to run other files and PSP homebrew in a Wii System Menu environment. This release already allows you to launch .lua files, as well as other functions common to other PSP shells.

Buzz Junior is a new PSP Homebrew game from recoco, and modeled after the Buzz! franchise - or at least, the host of the game is. It's a trivia game in the stylings of Who Wants to be a Millionaire, and is recoco's entry to Scenery Beta 2008. Details in the full article.
