Sweet mother of pearl! Patapon 2 screens are marching in, with an accompanying army of details to tide you over. SCEJ is totally upping the ante with this sequel. Just to give you a sampling, Patapon 2 will be getting twice the amount of levels, units, and items, as well as a couple of new features to make every Pata-fan squirm in anticipation. Asking for numbers? Then numbers we shall have! Check out the 411 for Patapon 2: 60 levels, 384 items, 22 characters, 7 minigames, and an average playtime of 20 hours. In the first game, we only had 37 levels, 187 items, 11 characters, 5 minigames, and an average of 10 hours of playtime. On with the details!

» "new game plus"
niiiiice. in-game new game pluses are pretty common, but cross-game? i'm pretty sure i've heard something like it before... but nothing comes to mind. anyone know about any cross-game new game plus features?
man, i wish more devs would incorporate new game pluses in their games. whether in-game or cross-game new game pluses. it's an easy way to give a game that replayability factor. i don't see any drawback or con that can result from it...
ohwell. wish patapon 2 would get released in NA soon. but then again, if it weren't released yet, that gives me more time to play patapon1 over and over and over again. wooooo!!! XD

We'll have to wait until after christmas...I can't wait. The new game plus thing is making this game look even more fun. Those "robot" patapons are kind of interesting.

» New game plus from other games.
It's like if you were playing Gundam Battle Chronicle and then bought Gundam Battle Universe. It loads your Gundam Battle Chronicle data then saves it as new system data. You can use all the suits you've collected as well as all upgrade points that you've acquired with those suits.

» This all sounds quite interesting
I've never played Patapon, only have heard of it. After reading this review and the noticing the excitement in the responses of the commenters, I'm rather interested in giving this game a try.
