Patapon from SCEJ for the PSP - Image 1Patapon from SCEJ for the PSP - Image 2

Patapon may be a rhythm game, but let's not forget that it's a war game as well. You're going to have to lead your cute, little Patapon warriors to hunt, fight monsters, and go head to head with enemy warriors who have weapons of their own.

In the game, you will need to create more Patapon warriors to further expand your army. The way to do this is to go on hunting missions to collect items like sticks and alloys that will allow you to create more warriors.

When fighting you don't just pay attention to building a good rhythm, you will also have to pay attention to your attack and your defense strategies. Aside from having to read the wind, you will also have to learn how to shift your troop formation.

Like any game that introduces new innovative way of playing, the first few stages of the game will show you how to use the "defend," "advance" and "attack" commands. You'll need to know them to keep your Patapon warriors alive and kicking.
