PixelJunk Monsters - Image 1If you're expecting or hoping to get some more PixelJunk Monsters on your PSP, brace yourself for the possibility that you just might not get any more ports for Sony's handheld. Truth of the matter is, the PJM devs aren't too secure porting any more stuff to the PSP because of the piracy.

PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe - Image 1Uh-oh, looks like not everyone's fine with being left out of Sony's TGS booth. Q-Games, through Dylan Cuthbert, have tweeted their frustration at the way Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ) is handling their newest PSP title, PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe.

PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe - Image 1When Q-Games president Dylan Cuthbert said the PSP version of PixelJunk Monsters would contain "50% more content", he wasn't kidding. For PixelJunk Monsters Deluxe they're cramming in content from Monsters, the Encore expansion pack, and the brand new Gati Gati Island.

PixelJunk Monsters - Image 1Q-Games has been pretty tight-lipped about their PixelJunk Monsters project for the PSP. We know that it's slated for a release this year, but when exactly will that be? If a product listing on Play-Asia is to be believed, it could be arriving this June already.

PixelJunk MonstersWho said bringing a PSN title to the PSP means having to deliver everything bite-sized? Developer Q-Games promises to deliver us more bang for the buck with the release of PixelJunk Monsters on the PSP, but whether or not PixelJunk Eden will get the same treatment, we've yet to see.

PixelJunk - Image 1It may not be quite as good as a full-on announcement complete with a PR-speak-studded press release, but here's a little something that should get fans of the PixelJunk series whooping for joy. In a blog post on the US PlayStation blog, Q-Games President Dylan Cuthbert teased that 2009 may see the release of at least two new games in the PixelJunk series. More after the jump.
