Because EVERYONE can see enough to enable the prx files from Recovery mode WITH A BROKEN SCREEN.
Lol
i was thinking the same thing lol
FREE MONEY....warez.mukingdom-network.com/.....check under ebook/tutoiall.....SIKK GUIDE TO ONLINE MOE...no credit card no spendin n no age requirement of 18...ENOJY
lol
does anyone know what the other BAT files in the download are for. The readmes don't talk about some of them. Also, does anyone know which PSP buttons correspond with which keyboard buttons?
you have a friend with the same custom firmware, you could mimic their button presses and enable the plugin... still would be a major pain in the arse, tho
this is pretty sweet. My old psp has a broken screen and i got a new one, so i can just use the one as a reference to enable it
qj could have simply used "if you want to see psp xmb/games on a bigger screen" but no they opt to use people with broken psp screens, if you ever had a broken psp screen, there are things you could have already done like, 1 change it with a new or refurbished psp lcd screen, 2 send it to sony for repair, 3 return it to the store if warranty still applies or 4 some nasty thing we dont wanna know.
anyways this is just the GUI of the actual remotejoy homebrew application posted a few days back and it almost works the same except for the handy GUI for those finding it hard to follow readme on the original .BAT version. and sad to say its very picky on which game it will run, some games runs but slowdowns are still pluaging it. im not complaining though because this is a great homebrew and i hope the developer continues to refine this great software so that it can emulate the psp screen on the PC with faster and improve frame rate.
just install this before you break your screen
OE firmwares uses ms0:/seplugins/conf.bin to see which plugins should be loaded and which shouldn't. Just fill it with 15 times 0x01 and all plugins will be enabled.
Will this brick my 3.03 OE-C North American PSP if I try it?
yes, it will... sheesh...
sik man this is a great app. Keep working on it please i see many uses not just for games but also for mobile video and stuff
hey this is pretty rad, even with a working screen. could be handy for some of the hardcore psp developers (displaying on a bigger screen, less eye strain when working for a long period of time with the psp).
bravo!
good program
but it's have some bugs
when i press to loadvsh or loadjoy pspsh is closed
so i need to write them manualy so there's no reason to use this
and there's will be if he hide the windows for usbhost and pspsh etc.. and fixed the above bugs
any way keep up the good work
i am playing on my plasma right now!
How the hell? This program connects through USB.. unless you connected the psp first through the computer, and then connected the computer to a plasma using a PC input. Wouldn't the image be distorted when a 4" screen is put on a 40" display LOL.
a plasma monitor
Oh man that was a nice laugh Munda, thanks.
Finally I can watch UMD movies on a big screen! Or play SOCOM online with my computers screen and Logitech speakers and not strain my eyes. I wonder if there is even possibly a way I could use a keyboard or ps2 control (using pikey/ IR Shell) to control the game LOL. Although this sounds a bit ironic, to me it is great I can dock the psp with my computer and have a greater gaming experience, and when I rarely do need the portability, I can just slip the psp in my pocket. This is what I love about the homebrew scene. Furthermore, I’m sure everyone hates all the time it takes converting to PMP AVC format (however there is a great website called pmp-avc.com that has a few recent movies already converted for download as torrents). Along with the now fully functional pikey v0.3, which allows you to type with a Targus IR keyboard onto the psp, this is one of the most useful applications that has come around for the psp for me. Next thing on developer’s minds should be a real typing program, such as pspWORD LOL (Im serious).
what they need to do is make this so you can use your psp as a controller as well unless it always does that but i havent tried it so i wouldnt know but with the ability to play psp on a full screen would be pretty kool and still be able to use the psp and a controller pretty kool stuff
you forget something: the thing is called Playstation
PORTABLE!
you forget something: the thing is called Playstation
PORTABLE!
Yeah that's true, but as I said I do most of my gaming at home, not on the road, so the "portability" doesn't matter to me. And when the need comes, I can play my favorite games away from home unlike with a pc or games console.
this programs lets you control your psp with ur keyboard..i heard some people were using joystick to control it! thats pretty cool
I can get it to show a screenshot of my XMB, but that's about it. I get a lot of invalid magic errors in USBhostfs.
Maybe I need to reboot after installation?
Display the XMB works fine. But i can't get it working with the Plugins. When I enable the psplink.prx and remotejoy.prx in the recovery menu, i geht this error message:
"Error 0800013B starting module."
Any ideas?
if you have the plugins enabled, it won't let you load usblink. It says so in the readme to skip that step.
Will this program brick my PSP? I am worried about the "Please take note as well that your PSP will lock up if a game uses a certain call to load files or directories off the memory stick that is incompatible with PSPLink." comment, especially the lock up portion.
Sorry if it's a noobish question.
retard
awww hunny xxx its good you show consern for your PSP, love ya x lol
Will this brick my 3.03 OE-C North American PSP if I try it?
i can get it to show the XMB on the screen but i cant figure out how to play games
I'm getting a error, 0x8002013B starting module error, but if I disable the prx's from recovery, I get "connected to device" message in the USBHostfs_pc window. What's going on?
you have to disable the plugins if you want psplink to load. After the "connected to device" message appears in psplink, load "start-pspsh". Then load the "start-remotejoy" thing. Then, go to the "start-pspsh" and type in "%loadvsh". Your PSP should now reboot. When it has booted up, type in "%loadjoy" in "start-pspsh". Maximize the "start-remotejoy" thing and you should see your XMB screen.
dude, read the readme. It tells you what to do when the "connected to device" message pulls up (i think it's step 6). Also, you have to have the plugins turned off.
what hardwere type do i choose during divice instalation
First of all, it doesn't say
your pc isnt reconizing it as type b.
i think you use the psp type B or A and i still need help on using it with games i enable the things but when i go to the games i dont see anything
this is a great app and has a lot of potential. but i cant start psplink when i have those two prx's loaded. it gives me an error.
you're not supposed to use the prx's with the homebrew
Can't get it to load any game (both prx's enabled) pspsh refuses to connect / go to host0:
The XMB/homebrew work but not games, not sure I'm missing something or if all the games I try won't work (valhalla knights, e3, djmax.)
k got this bad boy working....but it crashed while loading a game no big deal, but now I can not get it to work any more :(
Any one else??
Got it working again using killall.bat
New prob though will I enable the two prx files and try running Start-USBHostFS_PC.bat I get no connection.

* Game Instructions *

To set this up so you can view games on your PC's screen you'll need to do the
following:
1) Enable both plugins (psplink.prx and remotejoy.prx) via your Recovery Menu.
To get there you just hold down the right shoulder button while booting up
your PSP.
2) Do steps 5, 7 and 8 above. Step 6 and 9 are not necessary for this since we
are auto loading the .prx's via the Custom Firmware.
It's not guaranteed to work with every game and if you have any other .prx
running you might run into problems. If a game uses a certain call to load
files/directories off the memory stick that is incompatibile with PSPLink,
your PSP will lock up. Basically it's going to take a lot of trial and error
to figure out what games and other .prx's will work with this.

Thank you for the reply. K tried your howto and still no go with connecting. Can only get it to connect via the homebrew app
Got it all worked out now. Just have to find a game that does not cause it to freeze/crash :D
When the windows says "select a hardware type, and then click next" I press "show all Devices" then I press "Have Disk" I go thought the folder untill I find "psp.inf" I click open, ok, and I get an error "The specified location does not contain information about your hardware." how can I fix this?
Ok i can't get it to show up that it needs to install drives and i don't know how to fix this
it beeps saying its connected but nothing happens anywhere
so where do the drives go?
It would be better if someone did this backwards. Make it so you can see you PC monitor on your psp and use your psp as a controller. Make all this work over wifi, and you can play pc games on your psp with glorious graphics. Imagine HL2 or Fear on a psp.
Its been done but its an older app. It uses wifi to do it and i couldnt get it to work.
download pspvnc and put it on your psp then search google for tightvnc and install it on your computer then go to start programs ang look under tightvnc and go to luanch tightvnc server then set it up and save it then start pspvnc on your psp and make a new connection and on your PC move your mouse over the tightvnc icon and you IP should show use that in the configuration for pspvnc and now it should work.
i think i know why maybe its causes it said only somegames work and we're trying all the games that dont work :D ever thought about that and the Console Realm guy said it works with his homebrew
Homebrew I was referring to is the PSPLink app.
I'm still looking for a game it will work with without crashing it.
oh lol
do you have tekken try tekken and see if it workd or DJ max portable (not the demo) or grand theft autu liberty city stories
try either grand theft auto liberity city stories, tekken, and dj makx portable 2(not the demo) and tell me if it works
Tekken Works, but you need to overclock to get a decent frame rate. It seems sending out the image through the USB uses a fair amount of CPU. At 333 it's playable but not smooth. BTW, DON'T USE WIRELESS AT 333MHZ
BTW, DON'T USE WIRELESS AT 333MHZ
Why? Is it a bad thing? :(
has anyone tryed this with 3.03 OE-C?
read the whole article...it says to only use with 3.40 OE-A....people if you're going to read an article please read the whole thing so you won't make any dumbass questions like NlGathan
it doesnt hurt to find out if someone has tried it on 3.03 as it says it might work on other custom firmwares
big deal someone asked a question get sick of jackasses on forums
Has someone tryed it with 3.30 OE-A. If so did it work properly?
I can't seem to get games to work from Memory Stick... At least the ones I've tried.
i got the VSH to show up. SWEET.
I enabled the plugins to try to run games, and i followed every step, but nothing comes up on the remotejoy window... in fact nothing is different, the games play as normal, except the psp crashes upon exiting. this is of course due to the plugin, so i'm going to redo everything on the PC's end...
hope this is of some use.
I get the exact same problem, as I follow all of the steps but it doesn't show anything in the RemoteJoy window. What stage does the psp have to be in when you open the window? I've tried off (and turn on when RemoteJoy has been started), in the XMB and with the game running. No luck.
i have the same problem. but when i add the prx's from psplink to the seplugins folder (without enabling them either) it acts different.
After a bit of tinkering, I finally got it to work for my games (MGSPO at least). Unfortunately my PSP crashes or freezes way too often for my tastes.
This thing is awesome! I got it working finally after an hour or experimentation and trial & error, but it was worth it. Some games don't work, while others have side effects (GTA Liberty City Stories slowed down to 7 frames per second on the PC, while the PSP ran it smoothly). Apparently you can't use wifi gaming with it, as tested with Syphon Filter Dark Mirror, but Dark Mirror ran the game perfectly. It looks so great on the PC. I'm looking forward to future developments!
Please, can you explain your steps to get it working?
Sometimes I can see the PSPLink OE screen on my pc, but then it turn off my psp (3.40OE)
Thanks!
http://forums.qj.net/showpost.php?p+1563878+postcount+54
this is what I used and it worked
any idea why it just resets psplink & my psp turns off?
i get the tyranid credit in the command window but when it resets psplink it stays as it is doin nowt, i just cant get xmb to start on either of the psps ive tried
After the commands %loadvsh and loadjoy my PSP turns off...
Any solution for this problem? oO
Has anyone tested it on 3.03 oe-c, because if I upgrade to 3.40 oe-a Vice City Stories cheatdevice wont work.
...use cheats??? play the game without it.
If my PSP screen breaks I think I'm still going to buy a new one.
hey for whoever got this working, what folder is your psp link in, what prx's are in your seplugin folder and what is your homebrew folder set to in recovery? and what prx's are enabled/disabled in plugins?
