 » Translation

I can translate what is written on the screenshots with the cat :
"Every time someone installs a custom firmware, Sony kills a kitten"

Yea, Sony is evil! :P

since qj just copies news from other websites, they cannot do these screenies by themselves even though the japanese firmware and japanese psp can easily be set to english. well actually they easily can if they have a japanese psp or just download the japanese firmware and install on his US psp. and of course take the time to create screenshot of it.

Don't need em..

Powered by ShoutCast!

That's all I needed to see... OMG.. FINALLY... WOW THANK YOU. I'll probably still use PSP radio though. ;D

 » F*** Sony!

OMG, I can't believe it! Sony just "copies" every single thing that CFW has! PSPRadio, Custom themes etc!!
GO TO HELL SONY AND F*CK OFF! Your firmwares sucks ass!

   Re: hush404 - 2007-12-13
 » OMG

Are you retarded? Sony adds functionality to their device, stuff that people are installing custom firmware for and you're mad!?

Sony is slowing giving people what they want and you're mad!?

Custom firmware came to be because the standard firmware didn't have these cool features, so Sony steps up and provides them... and you're mad!?

Just go rot in a ditch somewhere you retarded piece of crap.

 » YES

YES we're mad! Sony adds them by TAKING AWAY HOMEBREW CAPABILITY.

Wow, Sony actually does something good and you guys get pissed. Just wow, y'all should go jump off the empire state building. If it wasn't for Sony, you wouldn't have a PSP to play on or hack, smart ones.

I have a CFW PSP but I don't use it to play crappy SNES or random crappy 2d homebrew games, and any of that garbage. Wow, be grateful that they are giving this to everyone LEGALLY.

 » u are all retarded...cept freeplay and hush404

for one thing...most homebrew SUCKS. The emulators are the only good thing about cfw (except the ability to pirate :D). The homebrew internet radio was so bad. It was very limited in functionality and the outlay ws SOOO ugly. This radio looks SWEET. Also, thanks to sony i dont need to spend long amounts of time trying to install themes (they made it quick and easy).

they are adding things from CFW so ppl can stop using CFWs and us the OFW. it will b good on their part, and it will b good for us aswell. yea there still no homebrew capability, but sony might come out with future OFWs that prolly will enable homebrew capability. u never kno, they can surprise us. and if they do add almost everything that CFWs have, ppl might just stay with the regular OFW.

Soily: It says no such thing, unless I overlooked a screenshot.

It was a joke :) I didn't even look at the text, it's just that those cat pics made me think of the "every time you do {insert anything>}, god kills a kitten" pics you see everywhere on the net ;)

"Internet Radio Player I?" What?

And I'm almost certain I've seen the "photos in the RSS viewer" screenshot before in an old preview.

If you see on their blog, they was talking about Raido Player...

too me its not going to be on fat psp due to space.

Just saw that the internet radio is useing Nullsofts SHOUTcast. Interesting...

 » Looks like fake

I dont think the shoutcast player looks 'sony style' integrated
its not sleek and doesnt fit the PSP's style.
I mean... wooden panels... realy!

Also i dont belive they would utilize SHOUTcast like they did not use an Opera or Mozilla browser.

   Re: Loonix - 2007-12-13
 » looked up

i had a closer look at the SCEJ website.
Streamig webradio will come, still i belive these screens are not 'final'.

According to the Google translation the visual of the Webradio player can vary (maybe throu skins)
And somtething about the Memorystick Pro Duo that needs to be registered o.O
So... i dont belive in a SHOUTcast solution at all but more in a 'Pay per Hear' solution or something similar...
It would be sad if its again something regional, barricaded like Seg-One

is there gonna be a 3.80 something CFW?
im on the official Firmware and i want to have a CFW without the use of pandora battery...

   Re: Squirrels - 2007-12-13
 » rar

you're gonna need a hardmodded or softmodded pandora's battery and mem stick to downgrade before you could install a 3.8x cfw

I'm happy with 3.52 v4 custom firmware and don't think I'll ever update again. Unless God of War needs something higher, god I hope not.
