The first release was only a few days old, but homebrew developers Seb and Cladil managed to release an update to their PSP homebrew application, Portable Program Guide or PPG. There are several new additions, tweaks, and fixes to this handy Program Guide for the PlayStation Portable now on version0.2 which makes use of xmltv data.

So what's new in this release? Check out the log of new features and fixed bugs in the changelog below (crudely translated by our weblator from its original French).

• Lack some accented characters
  
• Problem viewing hours of the ends of the day
  
• Time Zone hard to GMT +1

The Portable Program Guide is built with the French users in mind, but since this makes use of xmltv TV listing files, it can actually support programming from whatever countries xmltv supports (this includes North America, Britain, among other nations). Just to let you know, the homebrew developer will make sure that future releases of this 'brew will be friendlier to non-French users.

This release lacks a readme file, so you may want to head on over to the developer's thread first before you make any attempts to install this 'brew.
