PSPThe Unique Warrior has once again updated Power PRX, bumping it up to version 3.0. This time, he's decided to give in to a few requests and added a new config file for button combinations as well as a new brightness mode.

In version 2.0, support was added for users with 1.50 custom firmware. To install this PRX on a PSP running on 1.50 custom firmware, look for the config file (usually in ms0:/psp/system/) and edit a line to the following:

{
loadmodule1 = "ms0:/seplugins/rebooter.prx"
}

If you're running 2.71 SE, all you have to do is run Coldbird's Universal Module Flasher and install the module (NOTE: This only works in XMB and will be stopped during Gaming). Alternatively, you can simply copy the files in se_plugins in the MS_ROOT/SEPLUGINS to ms0:/seplugins then activate the PRX from recovery mode.

The Unique Warrior has added security to protect against memory stick corruption and bricking, but don't take unnecessary risks that could end up in brickage. Be sure to read the readme file thoroughly before installing Power PRX.

 » Need Power Prx for 302 OE-B

HI The Unique Warrior, tested your Power PRX v3.0 on 302 OE-B, but it didn't work.

Do you able to make one for 302 OE-B? I need the power.prx to shutdown the PSP. I believe a lot of guys out there would need them too!

Thanks.

 » Incorrect info

Karl B. is a little off here. (Pretty much like with everything else from time to time.) First of all, this PRX is bull*****... and to top that it only works in XMB. Yepfreakingeeee. Whooopaatyfrakingdo.

Second of all Karl, this PRX cannot be used with firmware 1.5. It can be used with firmware 1.5 IF YOU HAVE CUSTOM FIRMWARE (i.e. HarleyG). There is no CONFIG menu for plain 1.5. Get your ***** streight man!!!

 » Actually...

some people's psp take longer than the average 2-3 secs to turn off, so this is useful to them. Also my friend now has a PSP with a broken power switch, so he needs to use a pencil all the time to turn his psp off (dont ask me why a pencil, you just have to see it for yourself to know why).

Karl you're supposed to write what it does.

 » wow ur a moron

this is useful and for the dumbass who say it isn't well ur basically just a dumbass...and just to let u know this isn't for lazy people...it's helpful because it can either put the psp on standby,hard shutdown (which u would normally hold the slider button for 4-5 sec.) or do an automatic reboot.Also as we all know the slider is very loose and can break easily if it isn't already.So next time keep ur *****en comments to urself

on a side note no it doesn't work on oe-b hopefully in future releases it will work in oe-b and maybe in game

 » Special delicate for those dumbass

I fully agreed with "d". So pls don't call me lazy dumb or whatever you like to. Hard shutdown could easily damaged the sliding switch if you do it very often.

Advise to those really lazy dumbs out there - if you are going to leave your PSP in sleeping mode by momentary sliding the power switch and if leave it for a period of time, long enough for the battery to deplete below the threshold voltage, then you could say goodbye to your Lipo battery. Just for your information, Lipo battery will be bloated internally without you realised it if it drops below the threshold voltage (less than 2.7V).

 » nice

but there arent many people with 2.71 SE anymore. It would have been smarter to make it for 3.02 OE. and i didnt know that sleep mode can damage ur battery...happy new year btw.
