If you have looked at the example you will see that just a splash encrypted screen is enough to protect your work, just place text as part of the image and encrypt it, and then include the encrypted image in your homebrew with the key to decrypt it, the key can be encrypted as well to stop hex editors being used to find the key to decrypt the image. |

Homebrew isn't illegal. ISO's are. It's just that the PSP isn't intended for homebrew, and if anything wrong happens writing to flash, warranties don't cover it.
