GDC 2008 - Image 1

The game is all about perspective as Sony Computer Entertainment, Inc. (SCEI) reveals a new gameplay trailer of its upcoming puzzle title, Echochrome, for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable.

Featured during the recent Game Developers Conference 2008, the video showcases Echochrome's unique brand of gameplay. You basically control a mannequin figure who traverses a completely 3D isometric level. Then, following the five laws of perspective, you guide your character through the level and accomplish the set goals prescribed at the start of the stage.

While the game may give others a bad case of vertigo, it definitely makes for an interesting game concept. You can sample a taste of how the game works by watching the video we have below. We certainly hope Echochrome will be as challenging as it looks when it goes live this March on the PlayStation Network.
