Not surprising
I personally think all of the entries sucked. I voted for none of these.
Nothing revolutionary.
to easy to cheat with proxys etc
The competition couldve used better apps or hombrew games, but congrats to those who did them. Great job!
If QJ.net decides to hold another competition, could a coder please read what i put for an entry for the Meet the developers with yoyofro and such, about using an iPod or other kind of hardrive to be used as an external hardrive. I have it all planed out too. I just wish i knew how to code becuase i would try my best to code it myself.
If you take that into consideratino, i would be eternally gratefull.
I dont mean to sound selfish, but i have been so patient for so long to se if anyone has come up with the idea, because someone told me it was thought of before. Sorry ot be off topic.
ANYWAY, seriously, good job with the comeption guys! And congrats to the winner.
LOL @ PSPSudoku winning ROFL.
But yay for me I win 3rd. I'm special. And the comments section of QJ sucks. And I'm really bored.
The only noteworthy entries were Wedge Racer & PSParty. Oh well, just another crappy contest.
would win this contest if he made something
So true, NeoFlash and this comp were both pathetic.
I AM TEH SUCK
the competitions have been sorta messed up this summer what with people cheating in the neo comp and everyone getting disqualified from this one...
lol my vote went to psp snake.
I hope people are already planning on what they will enter into next years competition and go all out with the time provided to make something really great. I want to say thank you to all the developers who worked hard and gave us something fun to do.
To all the people complaining, you need to enter something then. I get sick of ungrateful people who complain and does not even know what it takes to do some of these works. I know alot of these free apps made are done by only a small handful of people and some maybe even a single person. The ones who make these make no money giving you something for free so stop complaining. Keep it up and no one may want to make these for you anymore. You might discourage them from releasing something great, so please be kind.
All these entrees imo arent that great. theyre basic games, and no very original for anyone. Nothing new, no apps, nothing original. I mean a Sudoku Clone, a Mario Kart Clone, A mario party Clone, a freakin connect 4 clone i mean come on. what happend when there were good homebrew games being made like Squarez or Attack of the Mutants, or Dual tetris. DT took the orgianl tetris game and made a chanmge to it that makes ti such a brilliant game. Come on coders think outside the box for once.
Geeze these contests suck. There's so much cheating.
PSPSudoku wins? I mean, come on!
I didn't try any of these programs. They all looked like they sucked. Nice try though, the devs got more experience and will hopefully bring us better homebrew in the future. I'm waiting for kart racer ultra to be updated, that game actually has potential.
Why should that game have anymore potential than the other games? Is it solely because it 'looks' better than the others? You're a perfect example of how the majority of users tend to vote. It's pathetic.
Wedge Racer. Definitely better. PSParty was good, but could've been better, and in terms of being like Mario Party, it has a lot of room for improvement. Anyway, it's good, but I think it doesn't deserve the 3rd place prize, while Wedge Racer does.
Also, Wordage is a good game, but many people probably didn't try it because it looks boring. But if you've ever watched Lingo, then I think it did a great job of cloning the game.
Lastly, I hope Kart Racer Ultra gets updated because it could be very nice with additions like car customization and computer opponents. It would definitely be great with WiFi!
nocomment
Accidentally hit enter :(
Also, PSPSudoku doesn't deserve the 4GB Datel HDD. It was nice and all, but theres already a very nice Sudoku homebrew with more features.
Whatever...hopefully future competitions will have better entries and the people who deserve the prizes will win them.
Ok, cmon, look at the winner PSPSudoku, how origional is that? And oooohhh wow! Psp snake! Psp connect 4! And let's not forget psp redneck. What a joke. It's all been done before. Now, Kart Racer Ultra, that is an origional game that actually took some skill to code. Not only are the graphics good, but it's actually fun to play! oh, but I'm sure PSPSudoku is much more entertaining......yeah *****ing right
Kart racer was fun to play?????Ok,this guy has made effort to make such graphics, but this game is absolutely pointless(racing for time isn't fun). It's not a game - it's engine show off.
Wedge Racer si the first really working 3D game made in lua.
All this games suck. I suggest that everyone who's developping a game for psp stop wasting their time making something nobody will play anyways
You could vote? I totally missed that, I thought they forget about this contest.
so many comments about how crap all the entries were but i dont see you all making naything better how about you all shut up untill you can produce somehting that actually runs on a psp bunch of retards

how's about you stfu, quite a few of the people complaining had entered.
I dont belive pspsuduku should have won, kart racer, then wedge, then psparty would have worked...
