Its Great to see Qj.net/liksang.com are running a comp..thx for rewarding devs.
you guys rock in my book
i wish i could program....
hopefully some great homebrew comes out of this.
w00000t for psp.
That gives me 3 weeks . . . damn my trip to Italy! It gets in the way of more important things!
and btw i RLY think sony should make an official tv adapter. mebe one with a similar connector like the remote. This would be great!
This is a great idea. What better way to jumpstart the homebrew community than by offering a pile of sweet loot?
I've got an idea, but it would be completly online (no single player mode, it would ruin the expirence). Is this okay?
nice prizes, I always love coding competitions cuz they bring out some of the best homebrew games!
Sounds like some nice homebrew will come out of this! Nice work. And Lik Sang are giving out some nice prizes, Kudos to them!
I can't wait for all the new games to start flooding in! And there's a great list of prizes too!
#8 - As long as it isn't against th rules, it's fine.
"Must be new submissions. Any new version of a previously released application or game will be excluded from the final judging."
Please clarify "new version"; ie: if someone made say, another OS/shell (which would likely score badly anyway) from scratch would it be considered a "new version of a previously released app"?
Great job igniting the homebrew scene!
wow! some kicka$$ prizes! a blaze tv and tv adaptor!?!?! M-AZING!! i wonder how much the tv costs itself!
just the adaptor, not the screen
damn!!! i wish i could program.... ahh does prizes are sooooo awesome!!!
Good stuff!! Nice insentive and nice to here people being positive!
#12: From my knowledge of the competition, this means that you can not release a new version/update to a previously made games/applications. This means you can not submit PSP-OSS v4 or anything like that. This was a big issue in previous competitions, not making new games.
Although, you can release a new program, like a new shell, or a new clone of a popular game, just no updates to existing games/applications. Do you get my drift?
lol just today I started my first LUA program so I will have to incorporate that splash screen in and enter my game.
time to learn how to program!
I will be the pwnage :)
do we have to make the program or just give them the idea pleeassse replay ASAP!
Yes, represent PSP-HACKS!!
@ #22 - You will have to make the game yourself. If you do not know how to code, or do not meet the requirements set in the announcement, then you can not/should not participate. This is a coder-only competition.
I think flash programmers should be in this competition so 2.7 users can benifit from this too. What about 2.7 users?????
This is an unrealisticly short time frame for this competition. Especially with no repeat entrys, I don't think there will be many exceptional homebrews.
What are the specific judging criteria? Or is it basically whatever the judges like the most.
yes i agree with #26, if there was more time we would see greater homebrew.
I'm a developer, but sadly I'm not entering. You know why? LOOK HOW SHORT THAT TIME FRAME IS!
can i enter
