Inspired by the need to experiment with something new, we at QJ.NET decided to test the Headplay unit yet again. Granted, this wasn't our first time to do so, but it was our first time to test the Headplay gear in conjunction with a portable game console that supported S-video. Since next-gen consoles used component video, we decided to see if a different video output would yield different results . The Headplay Experience It may have been due to the nature of his eyes and not the unit, so we cannot say that the Headplay gear actually causes dizziness. Granted, the Headplay unit may not be for everyone, but for those of us who prefer to block out distractions and lose ourselves in our own little world from time to time, the Headplay peripheral helps to provide exactly that. |

Can I Have it?
Pretty Please.
Merry Christmas to you, too. :) Sorry, but I'm afraid we'll be needing the unit for future reviews, so we can't really give it away. ^^; Don't worry, I'll leave a link in my reply below as to where you can buy a Headplay unit, though.

Thank you for your comments. That's why we're here--to keep you guys informed. :)
The unit costs approximately US$600 and may be purchased from this website:

Geez, these things aren't ready for the market yet. When they support HD resolutions, or even ANYTHING above 640x480, THEN I'll feel better about paying as much for a set as I would for an HDTV. Until then, a good LCD is good enough "immersion" for me. Don't get me wrong, I want to recreate the fictional .hack experience as much as anyone, it's just not available to consumers yet for a decent price. :P
Point noted. Your patience is commendable. :)
/WOW/
its so obvious that headplay is paying QJ to advertise their product. Nevertheless, it seems like a good one. Will have to wait until the price goes down about $500 :P
