Getting a little impatient waiting for further word R-Type Command's eventual arrival to North America? If you are, then you'll be happy to know that publisher Atlus has released a game demo, free for download to your PlayStation Portable.

The said demo will provide you guys with teaser of the interstellar war that takes place within the game. Will your strategic knowledge allow your enfeebled armada to survive the Bydo forces hunting you down? Or, will you be obliterated like those sent before you?

Fancy talk aside, you'll want to prepare 119 MB worth of space on your memory stick for the R-Type Command demo, available via the PlayStation Store (source link). We've also lined up some new screenshots for your viewing pleasure, in case the download takes longer than expected. Happy viewing!

» Just to let you know...

Its not a shooter. Maybe I missed it somewhere, but when I DL'd it last week (Thursday), I found out its a strategy game. There is no reflex action at all from the ten minutes I played of it.

just to let you know.

I have been keeping up on this game from the time it was talked about in Japan. In fact I found out what the game was going to be a TBS from here.
