Screenshot - Image 1If you guys have been enjoying vision's Custom XMB volume bar homebrew from a few days ago, then you may have noticed the "thanks to Zinga" clause, which made mention of an RCO Editor. Following up on that, ZiNgABuRgA is releasing his RCO Icon Editor v1.05 application, which should make editing your PSP's XMB menus a tad bit easier. As for this version's changelog:

  • Added an Extract All function
  • Will now automatically backup the RCO before editing (makes a .bak file)
  • Bug fix (was causing issues when loading some custom system_plugin_bg.rco files)
(The entire changelog's available in the README.)

As a word of caution, Zinga reminds everybody that this application only works on decrypted RCOs, and has so far been tested on 3.03 OE-C and 3.10 OE firmwares, though he believes it should work on 2.71 SE and 3.0x OE. Just make sure to view the bundle readme before attempting to run this app, and also make sure to be familiar with the recovery mode in case anything goes wrong. With that said, enjoy the download, and remember to see that other RCO editors are here for your usage!

If it's 1.05b, it should say that, and not 1.5
And it is still old news, been using this since early yesterday.

 » no good for me

tried it, too harrd i got specs of bmp right & kept knocking me back on diff points, then next thing itd changed & wanted dimensions of 48x48.... probly my error but still too hard

SOooooo, i downgraded to 3.03 OE-C, added all me fave plugins & mods & played DTM3, Chilli con carnage & ghost rider (crap game but still new title) an they all work fine..
...............GOT ME TOPMENU BACK THO!!! and like i said all apps & games work as cool under 3.10 as they do under 3.03, so if u want topmenu & ps3 theme & waves all together just downgrade to 3.03 OE-C via recovery

 » decrypt RCO

um....i searched for decrypting rco files here and other sites dealing with psp fw 3.10 and I can not find anything as to what proggy to use for decrypting the rco files..I did find other peple with the same problem tho...lol.

This rco proggy looks awesome and i am itching to use it but when i load my rco file from flash0 via recovery menu in 3.10OE-A' it says it needs to be decrypted first.

and aparently the decrypters for prx files don't for rco's....soooooo what do I need? besides a labotomy?
