This may be a bit off topic but, doesnt it look like theres a physical war between Sony and Microsoft. Where the fans are like the gang members. They both go through great lengths just to piss each other off. Kinda funny if you look through events of destroying each other's consoles, and then posting it on the internet so everyone can see. This event is probably the extent of this console craziness. Its a war between console freaks lol. Can't wait till they bring out uzi's =O. Yay!

Here's an idea, what if Sony really has nothing to do with any of this?
or worse yet, it's only some graffitti artist who just feels like doing this?
just because they make something with the psp on it, doesn't mean it automatically means Sony's behind it. that's like saying a kindergartner who draws a gameboy in his scrap book is being paid to do it by nintendo.
stop wasting your time, go get some gaming done.

come on guys, I agree with KirklandSignature, having sony come in and do graffiti marketing isn't cool. Its appropriating itself a culture phenomenon for pure monetary reasons.
and I do own a psp, I love it, but do I *really* like sony after their little rootkit incident, that by the way contained stolen open-source code?
how's that for the scene, sony stole open source code to make an exploit, and then infected their own customers with a fine piece of ****ware.

So... you people claiming it's not Sony that's doing this are claiming that some RANDOM PERSON, who LOVES PSP SOOO MUCH, is travelling ALL AROUND AMERICA to the cities of San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and Chicago, to advertise on buildings how much they looooooove the PSP? Please, just stop drinking the Koolaid. This is purely Sony's botched, horrible, stupid work.

Well it seems as theres also a anti-psp movement in the graffiti world. (see link below for pic) its rumored that nintendo is secretly paying artists around the world to post these pictures in an attempt to squash the recent popular surge of PSP graffiti

Actually RaiderX, I think the purpose of defacing the graffiti (:D) is so that it DOES look really bad in such a way that it tarnishes the PSP's image. Presumably, Sony might think twice later on about conducting a ****ty campaign like this in case of similar backlash.

You people make me sick, it is RUMORED that sony payed someone off, now heres the question WHY.
Why the hell would sony pay someone to get idiots like you mad at them? Everyone on here who says "sony sux" should look down at what handheld they have in there hands, if's its a psp, you guys are hypocrites, if its a ds, why the hell are you on psp updates.
Its obvious whoever is doing these drawings hates sony and hates psp, simple math to the average joe. Either that or there making fun of the community of idiots who happen to own psp but hate hate sony.

you cant have a corporate company come in and do "urban" graffiti around town. graffiti is symbolic with each neighborhood it is in. its like having some big shot come in and act "hip" to something that they do not understand. not cool sony. very lame attempt

Bonemasher, we do not have anything against psp systems, most of the people who complain about this are only complaining about the graffiti. Whether or not this is a deliberate advertising campaign is debatable, but not everybody likes having their own neighborhood defaced by graffiti.
And now, my pointless rant...
Well, this may be of interest ...I can not be certain of whether or not sony is responsible for this graffiti but now sony is using another popular form of artistic expression to advertise...they have started creating crappy flash games.

ok, I know, that sounded too whiny, but I hate when somebody takes a form of media, especially one that is artistic, and turns it into a marketing tool and felt a need to vent.
