Riviera - Image 1

Turns out, EB Games was both right and wrong about role-playing game Riviera: The Promised Land. The retail store was correct that the game will be introduced to the North American market after its much unprecedented success in Japan. But the game will be arriving later than expected.

Atlus finally released a statement on the leak by EB Games and confirmed that it will indeed publish Riviera for North America. However, the company clarified that the game will be available a little later, June 2007 to be exact. We've waited for this game for so long and we guess a couple more months won't hurt.

To those of you who are not familiar yet with Riviera: The Promised Land, the game is set 1,000 years after Ragnarok. The gods are no longer present and signs of the demons' return on the floating island of Riviera is very imminent. Grim Angels Ein and Ledah were appointed to evoke Retribution and destroy the promised land.

No, it's an old game from the Wonderswan. The GBA version was ok, but the PSP one has voiceovers, and completely redone graphics. Get your facts straight before you bash something for no reason.

Just like the GBA version had. The PSP version just has voice overs for everything. And a bunch of extra CGs, scenes, etc.

IF it doesn't have new levels, characters, and music, i really do not want to play this one again.
