In my opinion, they are all powerful in their own sense...
The first one has the "prettiest" graphics. The second one is the cleverest in its interface. The third one is the simplistic (which some may see as a put down, but then others might see it as being better for its minimalistic effect). Finally, the last one obviously is powerful in its customization and of course, the mirrors are very clever. Thus, they all are great!
Also. First post?
I like how small the prize sounds... I mean, when we hear prizes of $500, we're like, "ho hum... that's not a lot". But, if you actually think about it, you can pick up such a kewl video card with it! Or a PS3? Or 2 wiis! Or 2 PSPs. Or 1 1/2 360's! (or maybe it'd be called a 540?!)
the first one didnot run on my PSP I put it on GAME150 and I change the kernel to 1.50 ! But the other tree are cool! I like a lot the second one! But I need to see the first one!
I am reluctant to dl and try out all 4...
The 1st 2 are the best IMO.
agreed, but i just find Alcantor's the best. That 2d cube thing is really nifty and helpful. I dont like how the music is enabled by hitting down on the d-pad, it was problematic, id rather have that in the options menu. But other than that, i loved it. An auto scrambler would have been nice though. A+ stuff imo
The first and third, were a bit awkward with the camera for me, the third i was really aggravated by the controls, well the selector. With it being red, it was really easy to just not notice it, id prefer it to highlight the selected row or what not. The first was fun though, as was the third, i loved the thirds auto scrambler, but that selector just didnt allow me to have to much fun. If the first had it, id probably be playing that now.
The last one though, i just thought the developer spent to much time on the reflection/mirror thing, than the cube itself. Cause the cube shows no motion when you move the row, and that ring that selects it is hard to see, when its like, a dark color on a black-ish bg. So i pretty much had no idea what i was moving, since there was no animation, and i frankly had no idea what i was doing.
" but that selector just didnt allow me to have to much fun"
That's my number 1 feedback. Don't worry I'll fix that. You'll be able to grab v1.1 from my site (http://sebonpsp.googlepages.com) tomorrow.
Cheers
Obviously, considering how most of us use our psps for piracy, why not have someone just steal the code to the programs, and combine the best of all of them? You know, take the best animations, and combine them with the mirrors of the last one, the 2d effect of the second one, the stickers of the fourth one, the music of the 3rd, and as a bonus, allow it to switch to the simplistic pictures of the third one? And take the menu and autosave features of the third one! Piracy FTW! (Even though I only "pirate" Roms for emulators of games that I own...
owned a psp 2 yrs now...never bought a game or movie :P
if you own the game its not called piracy. it's only piracy if you don't own it or the console.
By far Alcantors is the best, smooth animations, nice tunes, easy menu, and different layouts.
Very Sweet Dude!!
