Rumors: Dead Rising 2 in development, Everyday Shooter to the PSP - Image 1 Even though it's already late, here in QJ, we're still alive and kicking because of the latest rumors that we were able to get from EGM.

Apparently, two games are now being talked about because of the rumors circulating around them, primarily Dead Rising 2 and Everyday Shooter.

Even though there hasn't been any official word regarding the development of the sequel to Capcom's zombie-infested Dead Rising, rumor has it that the game is already being developed for multiple consoles. What's interesting is that Capcom isn't the one handling the game but an LA-based developer.

As for the PlayStation Network downloadable title and PC game, Everyday Shooter, it seems that after much success it was able to achieve, the game just might be ported over to Sony's PlayStation Portable.

Hopefully, these two rumors might have tickled your fancy. We'll be bringing you more updates on these rumors in the future.

I hope there is another Dead Rising, and at the same time hope the new studio doing it doesn't change it too much

Why bother making a sequel multi-platform? I know others will be able to experience the gameplay but they will be confused about the story. I guess it's good if someone decides to sell the 360 for a PS3 though (like I did after it broke) since Condemned 2 will be on the PS3. I still just don't see much sense in bringing a game like Dead Rising to the PS3 or even DMC4 to the 360 unless they also plan to bring the previous game(s) to that console as well.

Can't wait. Hope they keep the "GroundHog's Day" feel. The game-save system was frustrating at first but once you caught on, it really made the game unique. I loved all the unlockables and DR1 had one of the best achievement lists ever.

ZOMBIE GENOCIDE FTW!!!

this is awesome but three questions 1)how can you make it continue on or will it be different entirely 2)i think looking at it now is anyone else finding this to be an obvious move 3) will it be banned in germany again?????

1) Although, there's still no word on the storyline of the "upcoming" sequel, we'll be dishing out the latest info regarding the game. :)
2)hopefully, the game won't break any of Germany's gaming standards/rules

DMC stories don't make much sense even if u followed the story lol, also a good portion or ps2 owners bought a 360 so I guess it'll be beneficial to them.
