**DRM-free** mp3's, videos ( dvd quality ), links to downloadable games, flash programs and PSP related rss feeds. Too much to ask? I think not.
flash programs are flash games.. (no *****ing duh)
downloadable tv programs and movies, game trailers and demos.....some things should be free and some you pay for
the PSP battery only last's 5-6hour.. and its not fast enought to download 500MB PSone GAME or MOVIE.. whats the pint.. PS3 has BROAD BAND.. and why can't i browse while my AC in on....???
the psp version will probably be somewhat like the ps3 store.
This will be the end for "homebrew" on the psp, Authentications and accounts will have to be made, so no custom firmwares will go without possible legal action. Look at the XBOX live TOS. They can have themselves a mighty case against alot of people now or anytime in the future. So if we would wanna keep our creamy homebrew goodness, we will be limited to sticking to a lower firmware. Thus, not allowing us to use newer more higher firmware required applications.
Or... just never use the service ;p
But then again, I am also observant in the fact that I see while the progression that D_A and co. have blessed us with custom firmwares. They are essentially helping Sony create an eventual exploit proof firmware version for a future incarnation of the PSP2. And the PSP1 will simply wither away ala sega saturn.
Or we could just use DevHook... Plus, who cares? 90% of the stuff in the "store" will make it to other, less legitimate places on the net y'know.
ya so fu***** what he makes custom firmware...if you dumb hackers actually bought the games it would increase profit allowing for companies to come out with more games but no u guys have to hack f*** you dark alex and all you hackers
This should have been released when the PSP originally came out. The PSP is at a point where people can already put their own stuff on it, why go through a store? No way would I use those crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think Sony would have done better in the portable market if this had been made available from the launch of the PSP, not to mention Sony would have been able to keep people from using homebrew much better and discouraged the scene.
Makes me wonder what it will be like and if it will be worth giving up my PDA keyboard for it, or having my games run better & loading faster.
they should have downloadable ps1 games because the best ps1 game and the only good ps1 game is legend of the dragoon and to have that on my psp would definityly be cool
mainly mp3's and flash games.
i think sony should all drink acid, along with paypal, ebay and the french.
I think I actually heard that one before by $ony. I think they offered all these before (it was said by $ony that with firmware 3.0 you were going to be able to do all this and what happened... well nothing happened) That is why they are getting their behinds whooped by the DS, the Wii and the XBOX360. Promises, promises, promises and they never deliver.
Why are you posting on a PSP site if you are against the PSP?!
Go back to your 360 forums or something....loser
How does selling over twice as many units as the 360 constitute the psp getting "whooped" by said 360
ok what do i want on my psp:
media thats already known like mp3s, mp4 vids of trailers,tv ads, tv episodes, maybe movies, all vids in hi res or hd quality. pics screenshots wallpapers,
maybe even different themes. to get rid of them POS ones, who the hell uses the regular purple and pink theme, and that wave is getting old :D
downloadable exclusive psp games, ps1 games, flash games, game demos. a multiplayer arcade games like xbox whit all the arcade games they have.
a psp home LOL, some sort of virtual community.
is symple ***** that we would find amusing
