David Reeves - Image 1Sony Computer Entertainment Europe's president David Reeves recently commented that they could use more games for the PlayStation Portable in their region. Said Reeves: "Hand on heart, would we like more PSP games? Yes, we would. We really would."

Reeves noted that the Japanese market has been doing pretty well, with Sony selling 1.6 million PSP units in the region. He said that this surge in sales has encouraged many developers in that region to create more games for the handheld. What makes this even more exciting is the fact that the games may be arriving in Europe:

We've seen in the last six months that because of the success of the PSP in Japan many Japanese developers have got some absolutely phenomenal games. They're not Monster Hunter 2G or things like that, but they are in development and we'll see them over here

So it looks like we can expect more PlayStation Portable video games in Europe. We can't wait to see what games from Japan will be released in the said region. Be sure to keep checking back here for more updates.
