Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) will be holding a massive press conference for GamesCom, reports VG247. It is scheduled to run for three full hours -- there's got to be something big somewhere in all that 180 minutes, right? No idea what the presscon will be about, but they did say that SCEE has got huge plans for their show. The GamesCom presscon of SCEE is scheduled to happen on August 18, 2009, Thursday, at 6:00PM - 9:00PM. GamesCom 2009, Europe's version of the GDC, is happening on August 19 to 23, in Cologne. We'll keep you updated on more news and schedule line-up for this event. Related Articles:

Sounds like the world's worst-kept secret is about to be 'officially' let out of the bag. That, along with final details on the PSPGo will probably be a good way to fill 3hrs.
Maybe more concrete display of the motion wands, too (ie: actual games designed to use them).
