SMS Plus dev uberjack has released a version of the Sega Master System and Game Gear emulator that implements an official Time Rewind feature. The rewind feature is a staple mod from DaveX that lets you "rewind" your current game without having to load a save state.

To enable Time rewind, just map any key to "Special: Rewind". It saves approximately 20 seconds of gameplay with saving done every five frames. Keep in mind though that Time Rewind is memory-intensive; uberjack says that it can take up to 80% of the PSP's available memory.

Other emulator releases from uberjack may also get official Time Rewind features, as it looks like DaveX has opened up the source for him. Keep checking back here for more updates.
