PSP Homebrew - Image 1A new homebrew emulator for the Sony PlayStation Portable has been added to Uberjack's list of homebrew emulator releases. This time, the fMSX-PSP and ColEM-PSP coder has released a Sega Master System and Game Gear emulator called SMS Plus PSP.

SMS Plus PSP is a PSP port of Charles MacDonald's SMS Plus emulator. The coder says that SMS Plus PSP was written in C and uses GU (Graphical Utility toolkit) for rendering. This is an initial release, so we don't have a changelog to post yet. If you encounter any bugs or would like to make a suggestion, click on the Via link below.

Don't forget to read the readme file included in the download. There, you'll find all the pertinent info including installation and usage instructions.

Download: SMS Plus v1.2.1

Who cares about useless emulators like this one? I can already perfectly emulate the SMS on my PSP, what I really want is a new full-speed SNES emulator that can play stuff like Wing Commander and Starfox. But noooope, instead of getting that, we get this. Pffff.

why when i click on a link, an asno lg ad pops up and it says my page is loading? It forces you to watch the ad that goes on for more than 30 seconds. QJ... what a cheap way to get your ads in.

Yes there are other gamegear emulators but this is as good as the best. Just had a quick play at sonic1 (the only reason to emulate GG in my opinion) and it is spot on. Thank you. To the person seeing ads for 30 seconds - pay for Admuncher, it works a treat.

There's never enough homebrew for the PSP. Great job! I encourage you to continue developing software of quality like this. Thanks a lot, Uberjack!

This is great, A Sega emu that actually works on an 8 gig mem stick :).

I loved MMS Plus but it would not boot on larger sticks.

This makes me really excited, especially now that I just got the money to get my PSP. Seriously my friend told me about this site that pays you to register to free sites and to complete surveys. I was skeptical at first but a quick search on Google showed me that it was actually a legit site and people have been making money from it for some time now. I’ve never had to give out a credit card number and never pay for anything. I’m 16 and I’m making over 0 a month. It’s really easy and only takes a couple minutes out of my day. If you want in register here and follow the short tutorial to start pulling in cash. The best part is this isn’t one of those “free” sites they mail you a check at the end of each month and you spending on your choosing. Some people will dismiss this as a scam but those who seize the opportunity will be greatly rewarded. It’s your choice.
