A few months ago it was confirmed that the US release of Samurai Shodown Anthology for the Wii and PSP will have all seven titles of the series in its roster, including Samurai Shodown V Special.Good news and bad news for Europe. Good news first. According to a new press release from Ignition Entertainment, the region will be getting the anthology this Winter (no specific release date was given). The bad news is, the press release says the collection will only have six titles. I assume that this will be the same release as the one Japan will get, which will only have the original six games: Samurai Shodown I - VI. If that's the case, it's a shame. SS V Special had some major changes from the original SS V, including the Overkill move, which gives you a one-hit win. Ah well, that's still six great games to choose from though. » I hope they fix the no 'fatalities' in SS2 as well
Someone pointed out that in a forum and I think that is true too since in 8+ hours of continuous playing with the jap version I have yet to see blood fountain, body cut in half at the end of a match in SS2. No big deal really I love the series so much I just have to be picky =P This seems to only happen in SS2.
I thought SSV special also allow you to play as boss too? But then the bosses aren't too much different from 6.

» Great!
Samurai Shodown games are still great. I hope it doesn't cost much though.
