..he is just a kid , how dump he is..
he is using PMP VLC to stream the GameCube thru the PC to the PSP ,,,
Guys can't u see the grean wifi led flashing !!!
it's not from the memory stick .
LOL
Dumb is spelled with a B >_>
This will be great for the psp1.5 i created
my psp has the more power than a ps2 so gamecube should run easily on it once tut has been provided.
email me if you want to help with the project
the fact theres still no n64 emulator running at full speed its highly unlikely a school kid can get game cube to work full speed. and you can clearly see he is using PMP VLC to stream the GameCube thru the PC to the PSP, just as Digi-Anime pointed out
If he did stream it, theoratically, that's playing GameCube on your PSP too! :P
Look you morons, this is NOT an Emulator. It's just some guy managed to figure out how to get the GCN to act such as a Television screen on the PSP. He's just using the PSP as the television.
Similar to PSP VNC, or considered as PMP VLC I guess, it's just a different process. Notice how the word "Emulator" was not even included in this entire entry. So SHUTUP trying to prove something.
He could have download a clip of someone playing smash bros and timed when to press the buttons on his controller. If you notice he pressed start and like 5 seconds later it went.
Either it's lag or he planned when to press buttons. It could've showed him going into a match and executing moves that would be more interesting!!
Just a video on his psp, the flashing led light never stopped, even at a menu screen.
fuucking useless
hey when is an n64 emulator gonna show up again anyway? have all the main ones been abandoned, or are they just still working on them?
hes transmitting the video signals from his gamecube to the psp using the location free player *****es nothing really special
hey guys, please dont be so easily captivated.
besides location free player or vnc/vlc, there's an even easier way to fake something. create a video of your console choice for fake emulation. record the intro of the psp, mix them 2 videos together, then video capture yourself prentending to play it when your just actually playing it on your psp video mode. and yes you should put the hold key so that pressing buttons on the psp doesnt ruin the video. and if you fake people you less than zero.
wow some good ***** if this is real cant wait and yea ***** the "first post" ***** *****ing noobs!!
i think it isn't real because
- the screen fits and the gamecube can't blit in widescreen.
- it would be very schocky if it's real.
- it just can't do it because the gamecube is even more powerfull than the Playstation 2.
to the previous poster; do you have specs to prove that the GC is more powerful than the PS2, and do you have specs to prove that the GC is more powerful than the PSP?
Even if it is, which is a high possibility, dont just turn this one down, lets just anticipate this one. sometimes i think you guys are like the folks who said santa was not real.. :)
You're an idiot some random guy.
PSP clock: 333
Gamecube clock: 485
emulation is not going to happen
sorry silly goose
Your the idiot... though the GC runs at 485, most games don't require more than 333 to run fullspeed!
its not an emulator!
remember. psp has 333x2
The media engine has a dedicated processor, as well has dedicated ram. Google "psp hardware faq" or go to gamefaqs.com
I have a feeling he is just using VLC for the computer and a tv capture card + PMP to relay the image from his TV to the psp...
That's exactly what I thought as soon as I saw this video, that he is playing gamecube and feeding it to a capture card on his PC and then with vlc is feeding that to pimpstreamer. This way he doesn't have to do any tricks to get the wavebird to play the game, he just has to be in range of the gamecube like normal
I am thinking he is using a locationfree player, as the wifi light on the side is flashing, unless he figured out how to play thought he ps3's remote connect, which is VERY unlikly, so I am sticking with it being a locationfree player.
it looks like he is using a location free player i have one my self and i have actually played my ps3 through, there is like a 5 second delay.
At the beginning of the video he shows that he is running 3.10 OE-A' This custom firmware has the location free player files pulled to make room on the flash 2.71 SE-C was the last custom firmware to include the location free player.
good point above
You can run location free on 3.10 OE-A thru DevHook and run the location free player from your memory card so it could have easily been location free
Some of his button pressing didn't even seem synchronized with what was happening on screen.
This is obiwan22 signing off........how old was that kid?
gamecube amulated... I dont think so. n64 is not even playable. so its either a video playing and a kid trying to match the keys. or its locationfree or other kind of video streaming to the psp. and like the description say... "obiwan22 did promise in his thread post that he will provide a tutorial for his project in the near future". that sound to me like its remote play. not emulation
Sounds to me like he somehow found a way to get the Video signal to his PSP. Interesting nonetheless.
thats really, really weird. psp isn't powerful enough to actually PLAY gamecube games. and half the time the kid was talking, he was tripping over his words.
mightve kinda believed if it was really slow. but full speed. i dont think so.
Well, Im willing to hope. I havent played the Zeldas for the GC or Wii because I dont have the systems, so I would like to catch up with those.
BTW, why was the kid so quiet when he talked? Weird. lol
LMAO he was just playing a game cube video.
Defiantly Location Free player, simply because the network light was flashing the whole time, and an emulator where you have to lug around a Gamecube Wavebird would be pointless, there would have to be some better control integrations built in, wich would be easier than figuring out how to connect Wavebird signals to a PSP without the receiver base. Heck, I can't even figure out a way to connect my Logitech wireless PS2 to my laptop for my Playstation emulator without getting a usb adapter for the receiver base.
At the beginning of the video he shows that he is running 3.10 OE-A' This custom firmware has the location free player files pulled to make room on the flash 2.71 SE-C was the last custom firmware to include the location free player.
Disregard my last comment about it not being location free. I mixed it up with another video I had viewed.
if it ran at 1 or 2 frames a second i would belive. but full speed? nup...
EMULATER!
too good to be true??
This is so fake
it would be so easy to do, i mean i could just take an xbox360 controller and use a location free player and then record it. No one would believe it just like no one believes this one.
And there is NO WAY the PSP can produce that kinda sound.
actually if you got a location free player the sound is just as good as what you got playing on it. sounds even better with a head set. but it is definitively streaming and not emulated.
THIS VIDEO SHOW THE METHOD THAT OBIWAN USE TO THE GAMECUBE !!!
IS A MOTHER F@#^ING TO TRIE LIE US!!!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wftr7sDM-ZM
STOP SHOWING FAKE @#$%!!
The wavebird controller uses bluetooth and the psp uses wifi. So it would be impossible for the wavebird controller and psp to communicate.
OMG in the begging u can here HIM CLICKING with a MOUSE
useing a mouse to activate VLC or w.e hes using lfmao and yes it is fake
1. there was no PSP BOOT UP (intro)
2. THe Wifi gamequabe controller is so *****ing fake
3. No way a psp can handle that much or deal with that much speed we can barly get GBAsp to go SMOOTHLY
4. idiot Lol
idk this is what i think and im sticking to it
WE CAN HERE YOU CLICKING YOUR MOUSE FOR THE COMPUTER KID DO A REAMAKE OR SOME *****
Lol
PeaCe
It's like he thinks we're idiots LOL, nope it's just him, but please I would LOVE to be wrong this time..but I know I'm not
Dude, you're so ignorant... your third "reason" for why it's fake is completely irrelevant. How much the PSP can HANDLE and how well the PROGRAM runs is two different things. The PSP could run GBA emulation so easily it's not even funny, it's just the gpSP emulator isn't perfect, so it's probably not ever gonna run EVERY game at fullspeed!
Gamecube has 128MB of ram.... PSP has 32MB....
Case closed.
Wii has less than 128, Cube has 48
... why put this up as news? Its an OBVIOUS fake!
IT ONLY SAYS GAMECUBE ON THE PSP.. IT SAYS NOTHING ABOUT IT BEING EMULATED.. READ BEFORE U GUYS FLAME
anyone here can get a vid of gamecube on their psp, even the noobs who barely even know how to convert correctly. thats what this vid looks like, and he just apparently tried to line up the button presses with the vid on the psp.
and another thing, it doesn't matter if it says anything about emulation or not. the gamecube is not going to stream a game to the psp and neither is dvd player for it (i have heard of that method of playing gamecube games). the psp has very little internal memory and very low processing power (around 222 to 266 Mhz) compared to the gamecube. sure, there can be a mod made that would allow the gamecube to process all of the data and then send it to the psp just for display, but that would require a team of hackers/modders working for a bit of time (like the psp modchip ppl), and this vid was posted by apparently some kid who isn't even old enough to drive yet (excuse me if i get the age area wrong, but that voice did not sound like a 16-year-olds).
then point is, theres no way this person could actually be playing gamecube games on his psp, emulated or not. location free only has the advantage of video for psp, not games
he is just using his psp to stream the video of the gamecube. the controller is there because it is connected to the gamecube and he is like using his psp as a tv for the gamecube except wirelessly. it is not an emulator.
I just think this is a gamecube captured video playing. Button clicks do not respond and yeah, wavebird uses bluetooth, not wi-fi. Oh and looks like that sound comes from other part of the room (kinda echoes)
...
Ownage?
if you go to the youtube link and look in the comments he says that he is just using location free.
The PSP isn't as powerful ad the GCN, no way it's emulating it.
PSP is clocked at 333Mhz.
GameCube is clocked at 450MHz
GameCube has a better sound processor.
GameCube has much higher video capabilities.
Posting this was just stupid. It would be like PSOne emulating a Dreamcast.
It would be like in no way a PS1 emulating a Dreamcast.
Or would it be like a dreamcase emulating a psone? Bwah ha ha. Actually, I think non-3D intensive games, like super smash bros, or bust a move should eventually be possible. COUGHDARKALEXCOUGH
i am an evilscarycomputergeek
You all noobs!
Who said he made the emulation psp...
Fact he told us will give us tutorial which mean it is not open source, it is just step-by-step how to connect TV on PSP.
Yeah it is pointless thing.
He did say he created this "MOD". Maybe he should of said he figured out how to use his location free player and he wouldn't get flamed so bad
you can see the WLAN on... so It´s jut something, like the LocationFree PLayer... it doesn´t even have to be Homebrew
You guys really are a bunch of ignorant fools. I remember why I stopped going here >.<
What Yoda22 said is true, plus the video he posted shows how. This isn't new.
and you still come here?
