Themes are a means of artistic expression; they provide people with a way of showcasing their unique individuality to the world at large. Perhaps that's why homebrew developers SchmilK, -lilfibz- and psp2468 have come up with three new custom XMB browser themes for the Sony PSP.

Before we proceed, a caveat: : kindly exercise caution whenever downloading and installing homebrew software on your Sony PSP.

The following features are present in SchmilK's theme:
  • All shadows of text have been centered
  • Battery bar does NOT blink when charging
  • One high res background in use via 01-12.bmp
  • Finally got the infobar fixed so without further hessitation..
  • PRX compressed for easy insertion into your fatty
  • Dummy dic and a few fonts included to save space if you need it. (I installed fine without deleting anything on my phat with NO 1.50kernel update)

-lilfibz-'s had been working hard on this XMB theme for the past week to insure quality, and now it's ready. As is the case wit SchmilK's XMB theme, -Hex- is exclusive for the 3.80m33 PSP custom firmware.

psp2468's organ theme is basically a recolored version of the original Organ theme. And in case you've been wondering, yes, that ghostly image in the background is actually the maw of psp2468's pet cat.

 » very nice!

I'm surprised XMB themes actually made it to the front page. Great work QJ.

These artists deserve the mention, as they are some of the best in XMB modding.

Thanks. :)

And yes, artists do deserve to be mentioned. I have friends who are artists, so I know how they feel about being recognized for their work. ^^

I tried to install the -HEX- theme, but ran into a memory issue. A quick Google scan said to delete the 'DIC' folder and its contents. Doing so, however, did not free up enough space. What other safe means are there?

I included a dummyfont.zip in my theme that should give you another 1mb of free space.

For the paf i suggest you delete it from your psp then copy from the archive because sometimes that doesnt ovewrite successfully.
