Never mind that we kinda missed out on LittleBigPlanet for the PSP in Sony's Press Conference yesterday. We've got 13 screenshots for you to enjoy, and it's right here for you. They're all oozing with their trademark cuteness, too, so we'll leave the images to do the talking.

People doubt it would look good...this is a first day buy for me

 » Eh.

Graphics look (not so good), but thats cause its a PSP. Looks pretty good, although it will be interesting if theres a level creator. Also, how does gameplay work with CERTAIN controls removed?

 » Impressive

The graphics look stunning for PSP, they're almost as good as the PS3 version.

*sigh* read the comment above you. And are you being serious?

keep in mind that the pictures are bigger than the actual psp screen, so the screenshots have been blown up. LBP will look better on the PSP than these.

 » True, true

I was thinking that, the PSP version will definately look very nice on its screen, stop complaining about the graphics guys!

I agree entirely! But I must rant.

What is it with the new generation of gamers? It's all about graphics with you people, seriously. It's not graphics that make the game, it's the playability and entertainment! If you keep on *****ing about graphics and visuals, you'll never see any good games for 360 like MGS4, instead, you're whiny demands will go to the PS3 since THAT is the system with the space for it. Hell, if everyone stopped *****ing about graphics, we might get some better games that last long than 8 hours! How's about shutting your whiny mouths for a second and just be grateful you even have a portable like the PSP that can at least give you a decent time with what it has to offer. Don't like the game? Don't buy it! Simple as that.

Re: Aces In The Palm - 2009-06-04
 » thats easy

because you want to SEE something for what you purchased.
why buy a PS3 if all the games could just as easily be made for PS2.
you buy a PSP with a promise by sony that the games look good.
so people want them to look good.
otherwise we'd all still be on gameboys.

   Re: cmbeke - 2009-06-04
 » gameboys

whats so bad about gameboys, i still play the games on my psp, they are still fun, and graphics are ok.

What is it about your generation that makes you say whats with your generation

anyway any one who has spent more than a minute thought or have actually came to their own conclusion whether than repeating what others said

would realise that graphics is a large area, spanning many different variables
il tell you graphics has a direct relation with gameplay and they both work together

would you play a game in ASCII, i mean a first person shooter, in 3rd dimension

without the 3rd dimension many gameplays would not have been created, instead some clever people have got the same fun experience of the 3rd dimension into the 2nd dimension

i other words without 3d these new 2d gameplay types would never have been thought up.

you may have still been playing with tilemaps and bitmaps only games, and gameplay does change due to them

when you talk about graphics are you talking about dimensions (dont forget 4d [which theyre now being called]) ~
are you talking about shaders, or are you talking textures, gun fire, graphics result in realism, realism can increase rate of adrenaline etc creating a better experience , so GRAPHICS DO INFACT MATTER, BIG TIME

few other things i wanted to say but i now forget

also whats wrong with, whatever floats your boat

finally the PSP has a ***** resolution, if you ever try to draw primitives youll know what i mean. luckily theres many tricks to blur the edges, some of them like tekken (i believe) uses the disadvantages of the psp and makes it into an advantage

basically edges can easily be smoothed
and its not looking to bad at the moment either

   Re: rex922 - 2009-06-04
 » graphics

they do matter but gameplay is far more important have u played world of goo not so good graphics but one of the best games out.

this graphics thing is ea's fault because they keep raising the bar in an attempt to crush the competition that cant keep up.

so graphics was to destroy innovation of others and skyrocket next-gen games costs and budget which now is abt 8 figures per game.

essentially this graphic syndrome has destroyed almost all innovation for games except for nintendo since they are so rich.

it costs so high that a bad judgement can be fatal.

so i say ***** super detailed graphics but not to crap level though an acceptable level.but bring back innovation because it was innovation of people did games ever exist the innovation of william higginbottom (i think thats how u spell his name) and his game tennis for two.

innovation>graphics

i never said there was anything wrong with gameboys, i was just making a point that you paid for extra grunt in the PSP, you want to see that grunt put to use or it seems like a waste of money.

hell i still play commodore 64 at times.
but if you bought a machine that has graphical capabilities of a PSP and they released games that were graphically comparable to NES, wouldn't you be wondering why you spend so much on the console and the games?
   by djman855555 - 2009-06-04
 » yea

i agree. thats why i play games from 10 years ago more then i do games from this generation. now its all about graphics and not gameplay.
