The Sony PSP handheld - Image 1There's no rule that says other people can't help build on something you've already designed. That's what PSP homebrew developers borgqueenx and Murdock have done by coming up with an add-on program for CrazyC's DOSBox emulator program for Sony's handheld console.

According to borgqueenx, the Simple Dosbox Navigator package contains the following files:

  • A readme.txt
  • Dosbox.
  • Dosbox editted configuration file.(for booting the navigator, cpu speed 333mhz, and more)
  • Dosbox Navigator (for easy browsing through dosbox)
  • 4 cool dos freeware games
  • Keymapping files for some games (read the readme for more info)
borgqueenx mentioned that "the package allows you to autoboot the dos navigator, so you wont have to type every command over and over to reach a game or something." The keymapping files included with the package serve as an alternative means of playing the included games, instead of using the virtual keyboard to move, shoot, and perform other actions.

As with all PSP homebrew software hosted here, a caveat: kindly refer to the attached readme files and exercise caution when installing the program.
